INSANE HYPOCRISY: Democrat lawmakers introduce bill that would send $870 million to middle east for BORDER SECURITY

Democratic lawmakers on the House Appropriations Committee released a new Department of Defense spending bill. One section of the legislation allocates $870 million on border security in the middle east.
The bill reads, “$370,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2023, shall be available to reimburse Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, and Oman … for enhanced border security.” Continuing, the section reads, “Up to $500,000,000 of funds appropriated by this Act for the Defense Security Cooperation Agency in ”Operation and Maintenance, Defense-Wide” may be used to provide assistance to the Government of Jordan to support the armed forces of Jordan and to enhance security along its borders.”

The legislation includes funding for the US border, promising millions for “migrant processing improvements” and “migrant child caregivers” and billions for “Civil Immigration Enforcement Operations” along with enhancing border technology. Still, lawmaker’s efforts to fund border security in the middle east have come under fire as they ignored America’s border crisis for months.
The rates of illegal immigration have skyrocketed, smuggling of drugs and humans has increased, along with other criminal activity. The lack of federal aid has led the state of Texas to protect the southern border on its own, with assistance from other states. Since the Biden administration has entered office, the severity of the crisis has grown, leading many Americans to suggest the president should keep Trump’s border policies.
