Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan is not going down without a fight.

Jordan is warning that the Democrat-led committee that’s investigating the events on January 6 at the U.S. Capitol is a “political operation” that’s aimed at stopping Donald Trump from running for President in 2024.

“There’s been subpoenas issued to 11 individuals, 11 American citizens who asked the government permission on an application to hold the Trump rally,” Jordan said. “The government granted it and now the January 6 committee petitions them to ask them questions about exercising their First Amendment right to assemble.”

“And why would they subpoena me? I didn’t do anything wrong — I talked to the president,” Jordan said. “I talk to the president all the time. I just think that’s — you know where I’m at on this commission — this is all about going after President Trump. That seems obvious.”

“Everyone in the country sees this as a political operation. This is designed to get after President Trump. Because they don’t want him to run again,” he added.

We know they are scrambling to do whatever they can because Biden’s poll numbers keep dropping and his ratings are plummeting.

A new ABC/Washington Post poll found that most Democrat voters say Biden should be replaced by a different nominee for President in 2024.

“In the November midterm election ahead, registered voters divide 47%-46% between the Republican and the Democratic candidate in their House district, historically not enough to prevent typical first-midterm losses. And one likely voter model has a 51%-46% Republican-Democratic split,” ABC News reported.

“Looking two years off, just 35% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents favor Biden for the 2024 nomination; 56% want the party to pick someone else. Republicans and GOP-leaning independents, for their part, split 47%-46% on whether Donald Trump should be their 2024 nominee — a 20-point drop for Trump compared with his 2020 nomination,” the outlet added.

The Conservative Brief shared:

In a head-to-head rematch, the poll found a 48%-46% Biden-Trump contest, essentially tied. Among registered voters, the numbers reverse to 46%-48%.

Only 39% of voters said they approved of Biden’s job performance while 53% disapprove.

On the economy, Biden’s approval rating is 36% while 57% disapprove — a 21-point deficit.

The terrible polling for Biden is a bad sign for Democrats, who are trying to hold on to the Senate and House.

As the midterms approach, the nation’s top issue remains the economy and specifically inflation (30 percent), the poll found. Immigration (8 percent) and crime (8 percent) round out the top three most important issues for Americans.

Americans are feeling the effects of this Administration, especially regarding the economy.

“We’re your typical middle-income average American family,” mother and wife Briana Howard told the New York Post. “We’re more mindful at the grocery store … It’s like, ‘What do we have a coupon for?’ I mindlessly picked up a pack of $10 grapes, that’s not something I can continue to do.”

This administration is purposely inept, trying to wreak as much havoc on Americans as they can.
