“I Never Take Classified Documents To My House”: Democrat Adam Schiff Turns On Joe Biden “This Is What’s So Astounding”

In an interesting twist, Democrat Congressman Adam Schiff threw President Joe Biden under the bus.
Schiff called out Biden for the classified document scandal. Over the past few weeks, many classified documents have been found at Biden’s home and offices.
During a recent interview, Schiff said he doesn’t “know any reason why people would” bring classified documents to their homes, an obvious nod to Biden.
“This is what’s so astounding, I think, for all of us on the Intelligence Committee. I never take classified documents to my house,” Schiff said during an interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, who asked if he had ever taken records home.
“I don’t know any reason why people would.”
Schiff then continued by referring to a SCIF, a secure location where classified documents can be viewed.
“I am so paranoid when I go into the SCIF and out of the SCIF to make sure I’ve got no electronics on the way in, that I’ve got nothing with me on the way out. I am very, very careful about it, and I would assume that everyone else is, but clearly there’s a problem here,” he added.
A few weeks ago, Schiff also mentioned on ABC News that national security was jeopardized by how Joe Biden handled classified documents.
“I don’t think we can exclude the possibility without knowing more of the facts,” Schiff said on ABC’s “This Week” in an interview with Jonathan Karl.
“I’d like to know what these documents were, I’d like to know what the [special counsel’s] assessment is.”
Schiff agreed that the appointment of a special counsel to investigate the Biden documents was a smart move.
“The attorney general has to make sure that not only is justice evenly applied, but the appearances of justice are also satisfactory to the public,” Schiff said.
“And here, I don’t think he had any choice but to appoint a special counsel.”
However, Schiff also mentioned that there is an apparent difference between the classified documents Biden had at his home and Trump’s classified documents.
“The Biden approach was very different in the sense that it looks that it was inadvertent that these documents were at these locations,” Schiff said.
“There was no effort to hold onto them, no effort to conceal them, no effort to obstruct the Justice Department’s investigation.”
Sure.
Former Vice President Mike Pence has also joined the classified document party.
Classified documents were found in his Indiana home last week, and he turned them over to the FBI.
The FBI and the Justice Department’s National Security Division have launched a review of the documents and how they ended up in his home.
Pence’s Washington D.C. Advocacy group office was also searched and no classified materials were found there.
There is no formal investigation as of yet for Vice President Pence.
