HUGE WIN: Trump Triumph, After Pennsylvania Supreme Court Rules In His Favor Regarding No Excuse Mail-In Voting

Former President Donald Trump is celebrating after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled on mail-in voting. According to Mediaite, the court determined that no excuse mail-in voting, which was adopted in the state’s 2020 elections, violates the Pennsylvania State Constitution. Act 77 was passed by the Pennsylvania General Assembly in 2019 and quickly approved by Gov. Tom Wolf (D-PA). Citizens could vote by mail up to 50 days before an election, according to the legislation. According to Wolf, the increase of mail-in voting is “the most significant reform to Pennsylvania’s elections in more over 80 years.” Trump was pleased with the outcome and congratulated his supporters in an email.

Excellent news from Pennsylvania, “The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania has decided that the practice of no-excuse mail-in votes, instituted by Democrats just before the stolen 2020 election, is UNCONSTITUTIONAL,” announced the 45th President of the United States. “Here’s the essential question: If huge mail-in balloting is now outlawed in Pennsylvania, how could it have been legalized in the RIGGED 2020 Presidential Election?” “We all know the answer—it wasn’t!” he said. “All American Patriots salute the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania for having the fortitude to do the right thing!” According to MSN, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court concluded that a mail-in voting rule would require a constitutional amendment before it could be implemented.

Pennsylvania expanded postal voting in 2019, owing to legislation adopted by the Republican-controlled state legislature and signed by Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf that was viewed as a bipartisan compromise. Republicans later slammed it after then-President Donald Trump falsely claimed that postal voting was a major source of fraud. In August 2021, 14 Republican members of Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives filed a lawsuit alleging that the state’s postal voting provision was unconstitutional. The Democratic National Committee, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, and a number of Republican County groups all filed legal briefs in support of the Act. Postal voting grew more popular in 2020, according to NBC News, since crowds at polling centers posed a health risk due to the outbreak.
The decision came a day after the court agreed to hear an appeal by Lehigh County Judge candidate Zachary Cohen in a complaint alleging that mail-in ballots might impact the outcome of an upcoming county judge election, according to McCall. The denial suggests that the court upheld a Commonwealth Court decision to reject 257 undated mail-in ballots. The Commonwealth Court ruling overturned a prior order by Lehigh County Judge Edward Reibman, who had decided that undated ballots should be counted because rejecting them would violate a 2020 Supreme Court decision on uncounted ballots.
