Huge WIN For Election Integrity: Two AZ Defendants INDICTED After “2000 Mules” Exposed Them For Ballot Harvesting

As we approach the 2022 midterm elections, election integrity is on the minds of many Americans. 

The documentary film “2000 Mules” brought about a lot of skepticism about what really happened in the 2020 presidential election. The film by Dinesh D’Souza exposed widespread, coordinated voter fraud. 

This week, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced that they’ve indicted two people in connection with a ballot harvesting scheme that took place in 2020 in Yuma County, AZ. 

One of the women is the former Democrat mayor of a city in the state. Guillermina Fuentes, the former mayor, and Gloria Lopez Torres, who is currently serving on the San Luis Council, were indicted in December 2020. 

The charge was one count of ballot abuse, otherwise known as ballot harvesting. Ballot harvesting is the practice of gathering and submitting completed absentee or mail-in ballots by a third party. It became illegal in 2016 under new state law. 

Both women were caught on video recording by a write-in candidate. The video shows the women delivering multiple mail-in ballots to the cultural center in San Luis. They dropped the ballots in a drop box. 

Following the recording, the write-in candidate filed a report with the Yuma County sheriff’s office. They consequently launched an investigation into the matter. 

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office took over the criminal probe shortly thereafter and interviewed voters.

The AG’s news release reads as follows: 

YUMA – Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced that Gloria Lopez Torres of San Luis, and Nadia Guadalupe Lizarraga-Mayorquin of San Luis, also known as Nadia Buchanan, have been charged by the State Grand Jury with Conspiracy and Ballot Abuse arising from an alleged “ballot harvesting” scheme where early ballots from other voters were collected and deposited into a ballot box on primary Election Day, August 4, 2020. The City of San Luis held municipal elections on that date.

The Grand Jury indictments, returned on October 3, 2022, allege that Torres collected seven ballots from Lizarraga-Mayorquin, and that Lizarraga-Mayorquin collected at least one ballot from a third party.

Arizona law only provides for a family member, household member, or caregiver of the voter to collect voted or unvoted early ballots from another person. Under Arizona law ballot harvesting is a class 6 felony.

This investigation was conducted by the Arizona Attorney General’s Office Special Investigations Section, Election Integrity Unit.

The film “2000 Mules” exposed the illegal ballot harvesting scheme that took place in several swing states, including Arizona, in 2020. The term “mule” is used to describe the people who repeatedly picked up sacks of ballots to take to drop boxes. 

The group behind the research for the movie used geotracking and video to pinpoint mules visiting several NGOs and drop boxes.
