Former Attorney General Bill Barr Debunks Speculations Claiming Jeffrey Epstein Did Not Commit Suicide

This week, former Attorney General Bill Barr cleared the air on the conspiracy theories surrounding convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Barr claimed in his new biography that he wasn’t certain Epstein committed himself in his jail cell at first until he watched the security tape. Epstein was a rich investor who went on trial for sexually abusing hundreds of underage girls in the early 2000s.
“When Epstein committed suicide in jail in August 2019, Barr was the AG.” He was entrusted with determining how Epstein was able to commit himself while on trial for sex trafficking.

Conspiracy theorists claimed that Epstein was murdered to prevent him from informing investigators who else, if anybody, was participating in his child sex trafficking operation. His family counsel also stated that the marks on his neck seemed to be strangled rather than hanging by a sheet,” according to the Daily Mail.
“An autopsy was performed by the New York City medical examiner, who determined that Epstein committed himself by hanging,” Barr said. “Although other evidence pointed to suicide, it was the video footage that supported the medical examiner’s conclusion.”
“I watched the video footage myself. It proves indisputably that no one entered Epstein’s tier from the moment he was locked in his cell at 7:49 p.m. on August 9 and the time he was discovered the next morning at 6:30 a.m.,’ he claimed in his memoir, “One Damn Thing After Another.”
Barr claims that after reviewing the CCTV tape, he concluded that Epstein was alone in the cell. ‘An autopsy was performed by the New York City medical examiner, who determined that Epstein committed himself by hanging.’

‘Although other evidence led to suicide, it was the video footage that validated the medical examiner’s conclusion.’
‘I personally went over the video material. It proves definitely that no one entered Epstein’s tier from the time he was locked in his cell at 7:49 p.m. on the night of August 9 and the time he was discovered the next morning at 6:30 a.m.,’ he writes in his book, One Damn Thing After Another.
Barr said he was fired as a result of a string of guard failures at The Metropolitan Correctional Center.
“The two on-duty guards were meant to check on Epstein every 30 minutes.”
“They told investigators that they dozed asleep, watched TV, and simply forgot about their responsibilities – something many conspiracy theorists could not believe,” according to the Daily Mail.
“Even President Donald Trump questioned whether Epstein was murdered to prevent him from snitching on his pedophile associates,” the publication continued.
