Exposed: ‘Not Coming To Mind’: Joe Biden’s Judicial Nominee Couldn’t Answer Simple Constitution Question

A nominee from President Joe Biden’s judicial counsel, Charnelle Marie Bjelkengren, was puzzled when she was questioned by GOP Rep. from Los Angeles, John Kennedy, regarding the fundamentals of the constitution of the U.S. this Wednesday.

A Senate Judiciary Committee hearing was set to evaluate various federal court nominations. During the hearing, Kennedy got a chance to test her familiarity with the fundamentals of the American Constitution and its legal theories.

Bjelkengren was appointed by the current U.S. President, Joe Biden, as the federal district court chair.

“Tell me what Article V of the Constitution does,” Kennedy questioned.

Apparently, Bjelkengren replied, “Article V is not coming to mind at the moment.”

Article V of the Constitution is one of the shortest of all seven articles. This article elaborates on the method of suggesting and making changes to the constitution.

“How about Article II?” Kennedy questioned her again.

“Neither is Article II,” Bjelkengren responded.

The Article II of the constitution decides the executive branch and determines its authorities.

It also enlights the President’s duties and his authority over the nation.

It also explains the procedures concerning the presidential elections and the President’s removal from office.

Bjelkengren’s lack of ability to answer Kennedy’s questions concerning the fundamental American Constitution was shocking as the seven articles of the American constitution are taught to every single American who studied high school.

Kennedy asked his last question if Bjelkengren had any knowledge of “purposivism,” which is a wise legal theory that highlights the intention of any policy or law while being analyzed.

This question was crucial as the purposivist perceptions are increasing with time.

Sadly, once again, she was unable to provide an answer to this question as well.

“In my 12 years as an assistant attorney general, in my nine years as a judge, I was not faced with that precise question,” she responded. “We are the highest trial court in Washington state, so I’m frequently faced with issues that I’m not familiar with, and I thoroughly review the law, I research, and apply the law to the facts presented to me.”

Kennedy said, “Well, you’re going to be faced with it if you’re confirmed; I can assure you of that.”

Bjelkengren has been catering to the Spokane County Superior Court as a judge since 2019.

This ordeal raises some serious questions regarding the nomination of Bjelkengren as the district judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.

It is beyond comprehension how someone like Bjelkengren can be nominated for such a significant position with her lack of knowledge. This also proves that the Biden Administration is incompetent and avoids appointing people on merit.

She should be immediately terminated from this key position because of her inability to explain the seven articles of the American Constitution. How can someone be a district judge without having any knowledge of these articles, which even a high school student is familiar with?
