Exclusive: Democratic Senator Joe Manchin Has Refused To Endorse President Joe Biden As The 2024 Democratic Presidential Primary

The Democratic Senator from West Virginia, Joe Manchin, has declined to support President Joe Biden for his reelection endeavors.
The West Virginia Senator also gave statements that implied several other Democratic leaders will be challenging President Biden to secure the 2024 Democratic presidential primary spot.
On Sunday morning, a CBS host questioned the Democratic Senator:
“Are you going to endorse Joe Biden if he runs for re-election?”
While trying to deflect the question, Manchin responded:
“Oh, there’s plenty of time for the election.”
The host claimed:
“He’s the leader of your party!”
But Manchin quickly added:
“No, the bottom line is let’s see who’s involved.”
While talking with Neil Cavuto from Fox Business earlier this month, the Democratic Senator from West Virginia gave similar remarks.
When Cavuto asked Manchin whether he would endorse President Joe Biden for his reelection campaign, the Democratic Senator replied:
“Well, let’s just see who’s all in the game. I’m not going to say I’m going to support or not support somebody. I want to see and find the best path — the best pathway for America. We got to get out of the toxic relationships that we have in our political process.”
Cavuto tried to inquire why a Democratic Senator would avoid supporting a Democratic President who is pursuing a reelection.
Senator Joe Manchin declined to provide a solid explanation regarding his decision, however the senator did mention that he will support the individual who “has the best plan” and will “find a pathway that basically brings America together.”
