It was recently reported that CEO of Tesla and new owner of Twitter Elon Musk took to the social media platform to thrash NBC and ask the question that has never been answered when it comes to the sinful duo of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

MSNBC host and political commentator Mehdi Hassan took a shot at Musk stating, “If that happens, we may look back on this past week as a pivotal moment, when a petulant and not-so-bright billionaire casually bought one of the world’s most influential messaging machines and just handed it to the far-right,” said Hasan.

Musk didn’t pull his punches with his reply as he tweeted, “NBC basically saying Republicans are Nazis. Same org that covered up Hunter Biden laptop story, had Harvey Weinstein story early & killed it & built Matt Lauer his rape office. Lovely people.”

The NBC connection to the Harvey Weinstein story referenced in Musk’s tweet was referring to the allegations made in Ronan Farrow’s 2019 Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators. Farrow claimed that NBC attempted to stop his investigation into the sexual assault allegations posed against former Hollywood big shot Harvey Weinstein.

Catch and Kill also made claims that NBC tried to cover up the Matt Lauer sexual assault story by attempting to organize non-disclosure agreements between Lauer and his alleged victims of sexual harassment.

Bizpac Review went on to report that according to Hasan, “It’s easy in American discourse to talk simplistically about the far-left and the far-right as two equally dangerously fringe blocs. Elon Musk has done it plenty of times just in the past week.”

But here’s the difference,” he said.  America’s far-left wants to give us free health care and free childcare. America’s far-right wants to give us white supremacy and no democracy. And this asymmetrical polarization of U.S. politics would be laughable if it went so horrifying.

We’re living through an unspeakably dangerous moment, the pro-QAnon, pro neo-Nazi faction of the Republican Party is poised to expand dramatically, come the midterms. We’re just two years away from Donald Trump, very possibly re-seizing executive power.”

“If that happens, we may look back on this past week as a pivotal moment. When a petulant and not so bright billionaire casually bought one of the world’s most influential messaging machines and just handed it to the far-right,” concluded Hasan, spoken like a true Democratic Party mouthpiece.

Hasan’s rant was so over the top that it caught Musk’s attention who responded beautifully with a dose of truth that not only mocked the remarks from the former al Jazeera contributor but also blistered his network which has serious credibility problems.Musk responded by pointing out the obvious, “NBC basically saying Republicans are Nazis,” he tweeted.
