Elon Musk, Tesla and SpaceX founder and CEO, took to Twitter after information came out that Hillary Clinton signed off on the dissemination of false information about a link between President Donald Trump and Russia.

Musk responded to a tweet from Tesla Facts, saying that he “is doubly pissed off about those funds being used for lying” since he donated to the Clinton campaign and voted for her.

FEC filings show that Musk donated $5,000 to each of the Clinton presidential campaigns.

Musk also tweeted out, “Sussman himself admitted billing Clinton Campaign to pay for him to present Russia hoax to FBI! This is not even questioned by the defense.”

All this came after Robby Mook, former Clinton campaign manager, testified that Hillary Clinton signed off on the fraudulent information regarding secret communications between the Trump Organization and Russia’s Alfa Bank.

The information disseminated by the Clinton campaign insinuated that Trump was having secret communications with Russia and that Trump was “owned by Putin”.

Mook was asked to testify by Sussman’s defense team.

In the Sussman-Durham trial, Mook mentioned that Clinton campaign officials were not even certain the information was true before Clinton officially signed off on it.

Mook said, “I don’t remember the substance of the conversation, but notionally, the discussion was, hey we have this and we want to share it with a reporter.”

“All I remember is that she agreed with the decision,” he testified.

Fox News reported:

[Mook] also said that he discussed whether to pass along the information to a reporter with senior campaign officials including the campaign’s chairman, John Podesta, then-communications director Jennifer Palmieri, and senior policy adviser Jake Sullivan, the latter of whom now serves as President Joe Biden’s national security adviser.

Fox News also adds:

Make no mistake–it was Clinton who invented the elaborate collusion hoax, financed it, and directed the process by which it was circulated to the media and the FBI. Her false claims were then disseminated by a cadre of cronies and dirty-tricksters working secretly in the shadows.

Musk also referred to an old tweet from Hillary Clinton:

He said, “That tweet is a Clinton campaign hoax for which their campaign lawyer is undergoing a criminal trial.”

This tweet from Clinton is from October of 2016 and it states that “this secret hotline may be the key to unlocking the mystery of Trump’s ties to Russia.”

Musk mentioned in an interview for the All-In podcast, that he will now be voting Republican, even though he has historically voted Democrat. In the interview, he said, “I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically – overwhelmingly. Like, I’m not even sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear. Now this election, I will.”

Musk also said in the interview that the Democrat party has become the party of “division and hate”.

The Sussman-Durham trial is still ongoing.
