Donald Trump Declares His Wish Of Being Handcuffed During His Court Appearance And Claims He Is Not Worried Even If He Gets Shot

While possible legal problems are dominatingly approaching, the previous U.S. President Donald Trump suggested to his counselors that during the time of his indictment and possible arrest, he wants to be handcuffed.
Trump also claimed that he is not worried even if someone shoots him as these circumstances will only boost the probability of his presidential success.
As per the report by the Guardian:
“Trump’s increasing insistence that he wants to be handcuffed behind his back for a perp walk appears to come from various motivations, including that he wants to project defiance in the face of what he sees as an unfair prosecution and that it would galvanize his base for his 2024 presidential campaign.”
Trump’s attorneys also expressed uncertainty regarding Trump giving up and surrendering.
His legal team also revealed that next week, he is permitted to surrender quietly with a remote appearance.
They also quoted guidelines from his Secret Service unit concerning the possible security risk.
Though, Trump has declined all of these suggestions.
Donald Trump also explained that since he has to hand himself over to the authorized officials for a mug shot and fingerprinting at the courthouse anyway, he also may swiftly spin it into a “spectacle.”
As per Guardian’s resource:
“Trump has rejected that approach and told various allies over the weekend that he didn’t care if someone shot him – he would become ‘a martyr.’ He later added that if he got shot, he would probably win the presidency in 2024.
