Don Lemon says his show CNN Tonight will be coming to an end, new show to be announced soon

During a Friday night recording of his show, Don Lemon– the host of “CNN Tonight–” announced that “this would be the last night” of his show. However, Lemon later clarified what he meant by this statement. 

With Don Lemon having hosted “CNN Tonight” since 2014, many fans were saddened when they heard that Friday would be the last night of the show. Lemon stated It’s been “really, really great. This is the last night that will be ‘CNN Tonight with Don Lemon.’” he said. “So, I appreciate all the years of ‘CNN Tonight with Don Lemon,’ but changes are coming, and I will fill you in.” However, Don Lemon later explained himself, stating that he would not be leaving the network.

After the show, Lemon, in a 24-second video posted to instagram, stated “So I got back down to my office after the show — everybody calm down. I didn’t say I was leaving CNN. I just said it was the end of an era for ‘CNN Tonight with Don Lemon.’ I am not leaving CNN. So you will have to tune in Monday at 10 o’clock to see. That’s it. So relax, I’m not leaving.”
