Democrats Are Going Insane: Kanye West Steals The Spotlight In Paris As He Wears A “White Lives Matter” T-Shirt

It’s not every day that a black man walks around donning a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt, especially during fashion week in Paris. 

But Kanye West did just that, sparking controversy all over the internet. The 45-year-old rapper and fashion entrepreneur showcased his Yeezy Season 9 collection in Paris on Monday. 

Before the models hit the runway, he came out to make a speech in his T-shirt with “White Lives Matter” printed on the back and Pope John Paul II’s face on the front. 

The Anti-Defamation League considers the phrase a “hate slogan” and a “white supremacist phrase” because black lives are apparently the only lives that anyone can say matter. 

Their website claims the phrase has “been propagated by representatives of the Aryan Renaissance Society and other white nationalists. By 2016, the Ku Klux Klan was doing this as well.”

Temple University Professor Marc Lamont Hill was not amused by the move. He tweeted, “Kanye West decision to wear a “White Lives Matter” shirt is disgusting, dangerous, and irresponsible. Some of y’all will rush to defend him. You should ask yourselves why…

How did we become a country that calls out people for saying that “White Lives Matter” or “All Lives Matter” and calls it disgusting, dangerous, and irresponsible? 

During West’s opening remarks at the fashion show, he proclaimed, “Hi I am Ye. Everyone knows that I am the leader.” 

He talked about how he was criticized for delayed start times of his prior events calling the delays a “side effect of trying to present the best idea.” 

He also spoke about the Kardashian family and his marriage to Kim. And touched on parting ways with the clothing brand Gap. 

But all eyes were focused on his choice of attire. When West went even further and posed for a picture with Candace Owens wearing the same shirt, it sent the Twitterverse into a tailspin. 

The photo went viral on social media, angering the masses. He was accused of trivializing the Black Lives Matter movement and giving Owens a platform; as if she doesn’t have a huge following of her own. 

It seems that the rapper was trying to make a point. After all of the insults and outrage were thrown at him on sites like Instagram and Twitter, he responded by reminding them that BLM is a scam. 

He wrote, “Everyone knows that Black Lives Matter was a scam,” on Instagram after the show. “Now [it’s] over. You’re welcome.”

Black Lives Matter has come under fire for allegedly misusing the millions of dollars they’ve received from donors. West and Owens have been very outspoken about it. 

There are allegations that leaders embezzled money to buy mansions and have funneled over $10 million to pay Shalomyah Bowers’ consulting firm. The organization’s acronym has been said to mean ‘Buy Large Mansions’ by some critics.
