The poll shows that if the election were held today Hageman leads with 56% of the vote, Liz Cheney with 26%, Anthony Bouchard with 12%, and 6% of voters were undecided.
According to Newsmax:
The survey of 400 likely Republican primary voters was conducted by live telephone interviews between May 24 and 25. The sample was stratified by geography, age, gender and vote history. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9% at a 95% confidence level.
Trump will be holding a rally today in Casper, Wyoming, to show support for Hageman.
According to The Hill, Hageman said in a statement, “It will be a tremendous honor and incredibly exciting to have President Trump visit with us and it will no doubt be the largest political event in Wyoming history. His policies were the best that we have ever seen, from building the greatest economy in the world, to driving America to energy independence, to enforcing our immigration laws, and I expect thousands of Wyomingites to come out to thank him enthusiastically.”

Hageman also noted, “When I am the Congresswoman from Wyoming, I will always stand for and defend our values and always remember that it was the people of this great state who hired me to represent them. I am grateful for President Trump’s support in my campaign, and I look forward to seeing him in Casper.”
Trump and Cheney have been at odds for a while. Cheney criticized him for his influence over the Republican party and voted to impeach him after the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol. She also sat on a select committee for the Jan. 6 event.
Many people did not respond well to her vote to impeach Trump, so she was voted out of her role as House Republican Conference chair last summer. In November of 2021, The Wyoming Republican Party voted to no longer recognize her as a member for her consistent criticism of President Trump. In February of 2021, the Wyoming Republican Party voted to censure her, as well.
The Wyoming GOP House primary will take place on August 16, 2022. It is said to be a top priority for Trump.
