BREAKING: The State Of Texas Is Now Beginning To Process The Bussing Of Hundreds of illegal Immigrants To Washington D.C.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki attacked Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s intention to deport migrants from the state to Washington, D.C., but Abbott looks to be sticking to his word. When queried about the governor’s proposal at a news conference on Thursday, the press secretary claimed that he lacked the power to carry it out. “Now that the Texas governor has said that he would begin busing border crossers to Washington, D.C., are you going to assist them in finding a place to stay and something to do when they arrive?” Peter Doocy, a Fox News White House correspondent, stated.

“Well, I’m not sure what power the governor would have to do something like that.” This is clearly a PR effort, in my opinion. His own office agrees that a migrant must agree to be moved freely, and that he cannot force them to do so. Because, once again, the federal government, not a state, is responsible for enforcing our country’s immigration laws,” the White House press secretary explained. The reporter persisted, “You don’t believe people want to go to Washington, D.C.?” “Well, listen, I don’t know, but I do know that the governor of Texas, or any state for that matter, does not have the legal jurisdiction to force somebody to board a bus,” the irritated press secretary stated.

According to Fox News, the Texas Division of Emergency Management has already began assigning buses to collect migrants and transport them to Washington, D.C. “TDEM has dispatched buses to areas where communities have expressed concerns about the federal government dropping off migrants in the last 24 hours and has the capability to send as many as is necessary to fulfill the requests from mayors and county judges,” said Seth Christensen, TDEM’s chief of media and communications. “A large majority of the communities that originally reached out for support through this operation, from the [Rio Grande Valley] to Terrell County, have now said that the federal government has stopped dropping migrants in their towns since the governor’s announcement on Wednesday,” he told Fox News.

He said that each bus was unique. Each bus, according to Christensen, “has the capacity and supplies necessary to transport up to 40 migrants.” At a news conference on Wednesday, Abbott addressed concerns that the Biden administration’s intention to abolish Title 42 next month will result in new waves of tens of thousands of illegal migrant crossings in his state. The Republican governor outlined a number of concrete measures his government will take to deal with the impending influx, including busing migrants to the nation’s capital.

“With the Biden administration discontinuing Title 42 expulsions in May, Texas will take unprecedented steps this month to do what no state in America has ever done in the history of the country to better defend our state and our country,” Abbott stated. “To assist local officials whose areas are being overrun by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration, Texas is providing charter buses to transport these illegal immigrants to Washington, D.C.,” the governor said.

“We’re sending them to the White House, where the Biden administration will be able to respond more quickly to the needs of the folks they’re permitting to enter our border,” he added. At the same time, Abbott ordered “increased public safety inspections of cars” crossing the border from Mexico into Texas. The new regulation will “dramatically delay transportation from Mexico into Texas,” Abbott said, but he added that it is important to stop cartels from trafficking people and narcotics into the United States through his state.
