Former White House strategist Steve Bannon is calling out the Bidens and the questionable circumstances surrounding classified documents found in their Delaware home.
There is a lack of transparency on why the Secret Service doesn’t have visitor logs from Biden’s Delaware home.
During a recent episode of The War Room podcast, Bannon spoke about the classified document scandal and accused the Biden administration of “lying every time they speak on this topic.”
“It was Biden’s own lawyers who first discovered an unspecified number of classified documents from the Democrat’s time as vice president at the Penn Biden Center as they were clearing out the president’s former office. It was again the president’s own team of attorneys who searched Joe Biden’s Delaware homes in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach for additional classified documents, which the White House counsel’s office confirmed on January 12 that they found in Wilmington. Two days later, the presidential team added that five more pages had been found at this home,” Bannon said.
Bannon also talked about a report from The Wall Street Journal which details how the U.S. Department of Justice decided not to send FBI agents to Biden’s Delaware home to monitor his attorney’s search for the classified documents.
The FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s estate back in August of 2022 but did not raid any of the places the Biden documents were found. Biden’s attorneys were able to search for the documents without any oversight.
The Secret Service revealed on Sunday that there is a protection unit assigned to Biden’s Delaware home, but they do not record visitors.
“We don’t independently maintain our own visitor logs because it’s a private residence,” spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said.
Republican Rep. James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, demands to see the logs and more answers.
“Given the serious national security implications, the White House must provide the Wilmington residence’s visitor log,” Comer wrote to White House chief of staff Ron Klain.
“As Chief of Staff, you are head of the Executive Office of the President and bear responsibility to be transparent with the American people on these important issues related to the White House’s handling of this matter.”
Republicans are demanding answers on why there is no visitor log. The president has spent a fair amount of time at the Delaware home since he took office.
Comer said, “President Biden has spent a large amount of time at his Delaware residence since assuming office. Americans deserve to know who President Biden is meeting with, especially since we know that he routinely met with Hunter’s business associates during his time as vice president. The Biden Administration must provide transparency to the American people.”
Fox News reported that last month, the Secret Service did admit that no records exist of who Biden has met with at his Delaware home. The agency said no records exist of those visits after a New York Post Freedom of Information Act was denied.
The Justice Department recently announced that it appointed Special Counsel Robert Hur to lead the investigation into Biden’s classified documents case.
