BREAKING: Senators Vote To Call Witnesses

In a move which could potentially extend the controversial impeachment trial for weeks, Senators have voted 55-45 to call witnesses. Though five Republicans are not enough to convict President Trump, the move demonstrates just how divided the GOP is. Ron Johnson and Mitt Romney have reportedly sparred over the decision, with Ron Johnson apparently saying “blame you” to Romney. As well as Mitt Romney (R-UT), the other Republicans that voted to call witnesses were Susan Collins (R-ME), Ben Sasse (R-NE), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Lindsey Graham (R-SC).
