The mid terms brought about a great deal of questions with no good answers. One, which is still being examined and fleshed out, might be something along the lines of why the much discussed and endlessly repeated “red wave” didn’t come to fruition. Another one might have to do with the issue of election integrity. It is here that the state of Pennsylvania must intrude. It seems that the state elected someone who is the opposite of alive. Yep, you read that right, dear reader. Pennsylvania elected a dead person.

It is now being reported by Fox News that:

Pennsylvania state representative who died last month was reelected during the midterm elections, reports say.

Democrat Anthony “Tony” DeLuca died Oct. 9 “after a brief battle with lymphoma, a disease he twice previously beat. He was 85,” the Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus wrote.

DeLuca was Pennsylvania’s longest-serving state rep, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Fox News went on to report that:

“While we’re incredibly saddened by the loss of Representative Tony DeLuca, we are proud to see the voters to continue to show their confidence in him and his commitment to Democratic values by re-electing him posthumously. A special election will follow soon,” Pennsylvania House Democrats said in a tweet.

DeLuca’s opponent, Green Party challenger Queonia “Zarah” Livingston, reportedly ran on a decidedly left-wing platform, putting her three main priorities on her website as “environmental justice,” “ending the war on drugs,” and “reducing gun violence.”

Yahoo News went on to report that:

Some social media posts, however, are suggesting the election of a deceased candidate is indicative of shoddy elections or even fraud.

“You got dead people voting and dead people winning…” reads one tweet, which was then followed by a screenshot of a headline about DeLuca’s reelection. “You can’t make this up, America’s elections are a hot mess.”

Another user on Twitter responded to the news by stating: “Exactly what happens when massive amounts of fake ballots blindly checking democrats are received. No other explanation in Pennsylvania.”

DeLuca was an Allegheny County Democrat who represented the state’s 32nd Legislative District for 39 years. He died of cancer Oct. 9, with less than a month to go before the election.

Yahoo News went on to report that:

If a candidate dies, Pennsylvania state law only allows replacement candidates to be submitted if ballots have not yet started printing.

In Allegheny County, officials sent data for the ballots to the printer on Sept. 28, county spokesperson Amie Downs told The Associated Press.

“The state has an election calendar that outlines dates for withdrawals, substitutions, etc. and all of those dates had passed when the Representative died,” Downs wrote in an email. “This is not the first time this has happened either.”

Trevor Southerland, executive director of the Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee, told the AP that “under Pennsylvania law, there was no way to remove Rep. DeLuca from the ballot.” He also said the deadline is when ballots begin printing.

Southerland confirmed that DeLuca’s win simply means that the seat will be vacant until a special election is held. The date of that election has yet to be determined.

The mid terms have obviously been in the news a decent amount in its aftermath. In fact, The Raging Patriot recently reported that in a time when the radical left has completely abandoned all of their core principles in order to support an Anti-American globalist agenda that includes open borders, expansion of government, ending of free speech, the attack on our second amendment and support of the defunding the police movement, the Republican Party has become America’s last chance to preserve the greatest that is the American experiment.

That being said, patriots that elect its officials in the GOP expect these leaders to fight back against the radical left’s attempt to destroy our country from within, however, in recent years a small minority of Anti-Trump Republicans has come into the spot light for their opposition of the America First agenda that was established under the Trump Administration; this small group is of course known as RINOS (Republicans in Name Only).
