While the liberals in the media are using the line to save face after realizing that the charges against former President Trump fell flat yesterday, people who know where this is headed realize that it is indeed a sad day for our country. 

Was using the justice department to go after political rivals the transformation of the United States of America that former President Obama had in mind? 

The New York District Attorney has a personal vendetta against former President Trump that led him to bring 34 charges against the man. 

Bragg publicly stated that if he was elected, he would put Trump behind bars. Why isn’t he expected to recuse himself from the case? 

That is just a minor detail of the absurdity of this case. 

The fact that Trump is a former president and the top candidate running against Joe Biden in the next election trumps all of the other details. Bragg’s case is unprecedented. 

Former President Trump appeared in a New York court yesterday for arraignment.

The former president of the United States, who is the leading Republican presidential candidate for 2024, was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury last Thursday after a years-long investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

Trump pleaded not guilty during his arraignment before presiding Judge Juan Merchan on the 15th floor of the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse, 100 Centre St., in New York City.

The indictment was unsealed in court Tuesday. Trump has been charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree.

Trump called it “Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history.”

“From the time I came down the golden escalator at Trump Tower, and even before I was sworn in as your President of the United States, the Radical Left Democrats- the enemy of the hard-working men and women of this Country- have been engaged in a Witch-Hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again movement,” Trump said last week.

“You remember it just like I do: Russia, Russia, Russia; the Mueller Hoax; Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine; Impeachment Hoax 1; Impeachment Hoax 2; the illegal and unconstitutional Mar-a-Lago raid; and now this,” Trump said, referring to the numerous investigations that darkened his presidency.

“The Democrats have lied, cheated and stolen in their obsession with trying to ‘Get Trump,’ but now they’ve done the unthinkable—indicting a completely innocent person in an act of blatant Election Interference,” Trump said. “Never before in our Nation’s history has this been done.”

“Rather than stop the unprecedented crime wave taking over New York City, he’s doing Joe Biden’s dirty work, ignoring the murders and burglaries and assaults he should be focused on,” he said. “This is how Bragg spends his time!”

“I believe this Witch-Hunt will backfire massively on Joe Biden,” Trump added.

No matter how you feel about the former president, there’s no denying that this is political. They have opened the door to a new set of rules that they make regret when it gets turned around on them.
