Breaking News: GOP Rep. Jim Jordan Subpoenas 2 Senior Intelligence Officials For Censoring Hunter Biden Laptop Story And Claimed It As A “ Russian Disinformation” 

GOP Rep. from Ohio, Jim Jordan, who is also the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and the House Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, submitted two subpoenas for key intelligence officials on Tuesday.

Jordan believes that the officials were censoring a report on Hunter Biden’s laptop scandal, published by the New York Post in October 2020 that revealed President Biden, and had the potential to change the results of the 2020 Presidential elections.

Jordan submitted the subpoenas against the ex-director of the CIA, John Brennan, and ex-director of National Intelligence, James Clapper. Both directors affirmed a letter issued back in October 2022, that labeled the New York Post’s report as “Russian Disinformation.” 

Jordan stated: 

“On April 6, 2022, we wrote to you requesting documents and information about the public statement you signed in October 202 that falsely implied the New York Post‘s reporting about Hunter Biden was the product of Russian disinformation.” 

Jordan’s subpoena began:

“This statement served as a basis for partisan operatives to attempt to delegitimize allegations, as reported in the Post, that Hunter Biden had used the position and influence of his father for personal gain with the awareness of President Biden.”

The document elaborated:

“The statement was part of a broader effort among national news organizations and social media companies to minimize and censor the Post‘s reporting-and thereby limit public awareness of the allegations-weeks before the 2020 presidential election.”

Jordan added:

“The coordinated effort to suppress public dissemination of the serious allegations about Hunter Biden and the Biden family was a grave disservice to American citizens’ informed participation in our democracy.”

The letter under query was affirmed by 50 former intelligence officers, numerous belonging to the Obama White House, who falsely proclaimed the Hunter Biden Laptop scandal as Russian misleading.  

During that time, James Clapper informed CNN that it was a “classic textbook Soviet Russian tradecraft at work.”

The letter read: 

“It is for all these reasons that we write to say that the arrival on the US pollical scene of emails purportedly belonging to Vice President Biden’s son Hunter, much of it related to his <me serving on the Board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” 

The letter added:

“We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided to the New York Post by President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement — just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case.”

The two Obama officials mentioned in the letter:

“If we are right, this is Russia trying to influence how Americans vote in this election, and we believe strongly that Americans need to be aware of this,”

Having Chairman Jim Jordan on the lawsuit, there is a high chance that the Americans will be getting a response on how the intelligence officials used their power to assure leftist media that the laptop scandal, which had the potential to shift the presidential race, was a Russian mislead.

Americans have the right to get clear answers, whether the intelligence officials were falsely covering up the laptop story to favor Biden and Hunter Biden.
