The Democratic Rep. and previous House Intelligence Committee chairman, Adam Schiff, has been charged with the unlawful circulation of confidential data.
Schiff was leaking it so repeatedly that the previous CIA Director, Mike Pompeo, aimed to take back the access from him to the confidential data.
Pompeo stated:
“During my time as CIA director and secretary of state, I know that he leaked classified information that had been provided to him.”
He also acknowledged Schiff’s role during the Trump-Russia investigation, which was massively affected by the illegal circulation of the data to the media for a long time.
Pompeo also stated:
“It’s a complicated process, right? It’s difficult to pin down precisely what happened.”
Pompeo further added:
“But I could tell you that when we provided information to him and to his staff, it ended up in places it shouldn’t have been with alarming regularity. We could see it. In the end, I decided I held back information from them as a result.”
Schiff’s office gave a response to Pompeo’s words and labeled them as “false and defamatory.”
Schiff spokesperson Lauren French stated about the previous CIA director’s comments:
“This is another patently false and defamatory statement from Mike Pompeo. While we understand that Adam Schiff is a favorite target for the failed lackeys of the Trump administration running for president, reputable news outlets shouldn’t repeat these falsehoods,”
McCarthy, last week, defended his resolution to kick Schiff out of the House Intelligence Committee.
McCarthy reacted to a point and stated:
“Let me be very clear and respectful to you. You ask me a question; when I answer it, it’s the answer to your question. You don’t get to determine whether I answer your question or not, okay? With all respect, thank you. No, no. Let’s answer her question.”
McCarthy also added:
“You just raised the question. I will be very clear with you. The Intel Committee is different; well, you know why? Because what happens in the Intel Committee, you don’t know. What happens in the Intel committee, other secrets are going on the world, other members of Congress don’t know.”
He continued:
“You have not had the briefing that I had,”
He further added:
“I had the briefing, and Nancy Pelosi had the briefing from the FBI. The FBI never came before this Congress to tell the leadership of this Congress that Eric Swalwell had a problem with the Chinese spy until he served on Intel.”
He added:
“So it wasn’t just us who were concerned about it; the FBI was concerned about putting a member of Congress on the Intel committee that has the right to see things that others don’t because of his knowledge and relationship with a Chinese spy.”
McCarty, in a letter that he sent to House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries, states that he would never bring back both the Democratic Reps. Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell.
Bad title…he was not CHARGED, he was accused….big difference. We don’t have justice in the USA… we have sellouts to CHINA as they laugh at our impotent govt.
What a joke! He’s been charged? By whom? Mike Pompeo? He isn’t even in government anymore.
It’s too bad garland is so in the tank for the left. And to think he was almost put on the Supreme Court??? Garland should be Impeached and prosecuted for In-ACTION!
Schiff is a sieve, everyone knows it! Russia nor China need to bug or shadow him, he makes their job easy
Adam Schiff lied to the American people purposefully for years. He does have 1st Amendment rights, but not in his official capacity.
