Once again Elon Musk is in the news. Following the already infamous take over of Twitter that has been melting the brains of leftists everywhere, there is now an update. Billionaire Twitter, Tesla, and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has made a political recommendation to his tens of millions of followers on the platform. As Americans who have not already voted early prepare to go to the polls on Tuesday, Musk recommended that they pull the lever for a Republican Congress.

It is now being reported by The Hill that:
Elon Musk on Monday encouraged “independent-minded voters” to cast their ballots for Republicans in Tuesday’s midterm congressional contests as a check on President Biden.
“To independent-minded voters: Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the Presidency is Democratic,” Musk wrote on Twitter.
“Hardcore Democrats or Republicans never vote for the other side, so independent voters are the ones who actually decide who’s in charge!” he added.
The Hill went on to report that:
Musk closed his deal to buy Twitter late last month and has signaled he will relax content moderation on the site after a “council” reviews the platform’s current policies, raising alarm among civil rights groups who believe the changes will cause an increase in misinformation and hate speech on Twitter.

A new version of Twitter’s rules under Musk’s ownership published on Monday appeared to remove some policies in place ahead of the midterm elections, including labeling “misleading information” and directing users to information about voting with “prebunks.”
The new rules, however, do state that users cannot use Twitter “for the purpose of manipulating or interfering in elections or other civic processes.”
It was later reported by Yahoo News that:

Yahoo News went on to report that:
Musk announced in May that he would vote Republican in the upcoming election cycle after years of voting for Democrats.Responding to Musk’s tweet, Punchbowl News founder Jake Sherman tweeted that Musk has “long been friendly with Kevin McCarthy.”Musk’s acquisition of Twitter ended last month. Reaction to his tweet came swiftly.
In August, Musk was reportedly a VIP guest of House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy’s at his annual donor retreat in Wyoming, multiple outlets reported. Axios reported that McCarthy interviewed Musk in a fireside Q&A chat and that Musk complained during the event about the $11 billion tax bill he incurred in 2021 after selling Tesla stock. Attendees also told Axios that the US would benefit if the Democratic Party stayed “out of people’s wallets,” and Republicans stayed “out of people’s bedrooms.”
The press ink continues to flow like water for Elon Musk. The Raging Patriot recently reported that his biggest move has been to oust the board of directors and name himself Twitter’s “sole director.” According to a company filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, both Bret Taylor, former chairman of the board, and Parag Agrawal, former chief executive, are two of the nine directors who were fired.
Musk, a long-time user of Twitter, watched as the company censored and blocked stories and users and decided he needed to do something about it. Musk tweeted, “The reason I acquired Twitter is because it is important to the future of civilization to have a common digital town square, where a wide range of beliefs can be debated in a healthy manner, without resorting to violence.”
He followed up his tweet to reassure those concerned about allowing free speech on the platform by saying, “Twitter obviously cannot become a free-for-all hell-scape, where anything can be said with no consequences!”
