“Our warriors in Iraq and Afghanistan faced numerous perils,” Biden remarked at the president’s address on Tuesday night. “One was stationed at bases, inhaling poisonous fumes from ‘burn pits’ that cremated wastes of war—medical and hazardous materials, jet fuel, and other items. Many of the world’s fittest and best-trained fighters were never the same after returning home. Headaches. Numbness. Dizziness. A disease that would send them to their death in a flag-draped casket —”
Boebert stopped Biden, shouting, “You throw them in, 13 of them!” She was alluding to the 13 service men killed in the Kabul incident while assisting with Afghanistan’s withdrawal.
Boebert also donned a black suit with three phrases in gold lettering: “Drill baby, drill” to the talk, a dig at Biden’s reversals of Trump-era measures focused at extracting more domestic fossil resources, which resulted in the country being energy independent for the first time in decades.
Furthermore, the prank occurred as gas prices reached a seven-year high this week; “significantly, Biden has delayed the building of the Keystone XL pipeline and just banned new oil and gas leases indefinitely,” according to The Daily Wire.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) approved of the Colorado Republican’s outfit on Twitter.
According to mainstream sites that are generally loyal to the left, Biden’s speech did not appear to assist him or the Democratic Party much.
CNN said that Biden’s “extremely favorable” response rate was the lowest for a president in more than two decades. According to a CNN Poll done by SSRS, “a 71 percent majority of Americans who watched President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address had a good reaction to the speech, with a more modest 41 percent reacting extremely favourably,” the network stated Wednesday morning.
Nancy, when you sit in the House, in session, and tape together Trump’s speech and apologize to the House for your actions, I will agree that the outburst should not have been made. I’m waiting!
