BREAKING: ‘I Don’t Want To Fight Nature’, Actress Drew Barrymore DESTROYS WOKE NARRATIVE And Embraces Natural Self As She Disses The Use of Plastic Surgery

The question of Hollywood is often used in tandem or axiomatically with such boring, overused words as “woke”. There is a risible liberal consensus emanating from Hollywood that would seem to preclude any opinions that in any way differ from the consensus opinion. This is, of course, true, most of the time. However, when there is a divergence from the consensus view, it is well worth it to report. Enter, of all people, Drew Barrymore.

It is now being reported by the Daily Wire that:

Actress Drew Barrymore reiterated her anti-plastic surgery stance, saying going under the knife is just not an option for her face.

“I’ve never messed with my face. I don’t want to fight nature,” the 47-year-old actress told Jamie Lee Curtis during an October 14 episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show.”

“I’m raising two daughters, and we were raised in an industry where it was desired to drink off the fountain of youth and I just never subscribed to it,” she continued, per Express. “I think men just need to let women know aging is safe and awesome.”

The Daily Wire went on to report that:

Barrymore shares daughters, Frankie, 8, and Olive, 10, with her ex-husband Will Kopelman. She also discussed her reasons for avoiding plastic surgery in the past.

“The thing that I do care about and I do feel is still relevant to my life is the face,” the “50 First Dates” actress said on a previous episode of the show. “I know myself. I’m a highly addictive person.”

It was further reported that:

I do one injection, I’m going to look like Jocelyn Wildenstein by Friday,” she joked. Barrymore then revealed from an early age she knew that she is not interested in getting plastic surgeries done. “I think because I’m so rebellious that I saw all of that pressure and I saw all of those women torturing themselves to look a certain way and I thought, ‘You miserable people,'” Barrymore stated.

The outlet went on to report that:

The actress added: ‘I feel more human and more vulnerable every year of my life but I also know how to appreciate every year more and more too.’

As for Curtis, she recently spoke against Botox and plastic surgery during an interview with TODAY. “I did plastic surgery,” the ‘True Lies’ alum said. “I put Botox in my head. Does Botox make the big wrinkle go away? Yes. But then you look like a plastic figurine.”

If for no reason other than as a public service, we at The Raging Patriot have been criticizing the woke movement for some time. In fact just earlier this week, we reported that Democrats have a crime problem on their hands as the midterm elections approach in November. The liberal progressive candidates across the nation have been soft on crime for the past several years and it’s coming back to haunt them.  In the summer of 2020, when American cities burned across the nation, Democrats used the opportunity to promote their identity politics driven by cries of systemic racism. The mainstream legacy media recited the talking points of the Democrat party every chance they could get. 

Now, just two years later, the Democrat’s stance on crime will hurt them in the mid-term elections. The liberal prosecutors installed by George Soros and Black Lives Matter defunding the police movement is not working. A recent poll found that 52%, of Democrats, say rising crime is “the fault of woke politicians”. The numbers are not surprising. Democrats control just about all the major cities throughout the country where crime is skyrocketing.
