Americans may want to mark this date on the calendar. Congressman Adam Schiff went on ABC’s This Week on Sunday with host Jonathan Karl and actually admitted that President Biden may have put our national security in jeopardy.

Adam Schiff is widely known for pushing the Russia Hoax and spouting lies about it all over national television for years.

It was recently released in the Twitter Files that Schiff also pushed Twitter to censor certain accounts and block users who tweeted things he and the government didn’t want getting out to the American people.

When the topic of Biden’s classified documents scandal came up, Karl asked Schiff how he felt about Attorney General Merrick Garland appointing a special counsel to investigate the matter.

Karl said, “Congressman Schiff, you were on this show just after Attorney General Garland appointed a special counsel in the case of the Trump documents. You said it was the right move. Do you feel the same way about this special counsel?”

In a shocking reply, Schiff said, “I do think it’s the right move. The attorney general has to make sure that not only is justice evenly applied, but the appearances of justice are also satisfactory to the public. And here, I don’t think he had any choice but to appoint a special counsel. And I think that special counsel will do the proper assessment.”

Since when do Democrats believe that justice should be “evenly applied?” It’s a nice idea, but it leads many of us to wonder…what is their real motive in this case?

“I still would like to see Congress do its own assessment of — and receive an assessment from the intelligence community of whether there was an exposure to others of these documents, whether there was harm to national security, on the case of either set of documents with either president. But, yes, I think the special counsel was appropriately appointed,” Schiff continued.

The Congressman from California shifted away from the topic of the special counsel to thank the president for making an emergency declaration in regard to the storm damage in his state.

He let the residents of the three hardest-hit counties know that they can apply for help in rebuilding their damaged homes and businesses. He reminded the residents of other counties to report any damage as soon as possible to see if they qualify for relief as well.

The host brought the conversation back to the original topic asking,

“You raise the possibility of that national security assessment. Is it possible that national security was jeopardized here as – as many, including you, raised that possibility with the Mar-a-Lago documents?”

Schiff said, “I don’t think we can exclude the possibility without knowing more of the facts. We have asked for an assessment in the intelligence community of the Mar-a-Lago documents. I think we ought to get that same assessment of the documents found in the – in the think tank, as well as the home of President Biden. I’d like to know what these documents were.”

He went on to say that he’d like to know what the independent counsel’s assessment concludes. Was there a risk of exposure? What is the possible harm? Does the government need to do anything in response to mitigate potential national security risks?

Wouldn’t we all like to know…
