BREAKING: Former Press Sec. Kayleigh McEnany Blasts Biden Admin For Funding ‘Drag Theater Performances’ In Ecuador

Is anyone else bewildered by the left’s obsession with drag shows? They’re pushing them on children at schools and communities around the country.
Now, the U.S. Department of State is giving money to other countries to host “drag theater performances.”
Fox News learned that more than $20,000 was awarded to a cultural center in Ecuador to host such performances in the name of… What else? …diversity and inclusion.
It’s no wonder Former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany took to Twitter to slam the Biden administration over this.
“The State Department awarded a $20,600 grant on Sept. 23 to the Centro Ecuatoriano Norteamericano (CEN), a non-profit organization supported by the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Ecuador, to promote diversity and inclusion in the region,” according to Fox News.
The project at CEN started September 30th and will go through August of next year. It includes “3 workshops,” “12 drag theater performances,” and a “2-minute documentary,” according to the State Department’s grant. This information can be seen on the USASpending.gov website.
The former press secretary and now Fox News host tweeted what many Americans are thinking. She wrote, “Because this makes sense…” in response to the report.
The purpose of the grant, which is part of the State Department’s public diplomacy program, is to “support the achievement of U.S. foreign policy goals and objectives, advance national interests, and enhance national security by informing and influencing foreign publics and by expanding and strengthening the relationship between the people and government of the United States and citizens of the rest of the world,” the website states.
Can anyone think of a better way to strengthen the relationship between the U.S. and the citizens of the world and enhance national security???
We are living in clown world right now. And, the American taxpayers are funding these absurdities.
Over the years, the State Department has awarded CEN hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars. This grant is unique, however, as it seems to be the first one to fund drag performances.
Susie Moore, the Deputy Managing Editor for RedState wrote this in reaction to the story, “I don’t know about you, but I already feel closer to Ecuador (and more secure!) just knowing we’re funding drag shows for them.”
Every story in the news lately seems to involve “family-friendly” drag shows. As if that’s not an oxymoron.
What is their obsession with pushing this stuff on everyone including children?!
Many Americans took to Twitter to echo McEnany and Moore’s sentiment. Some pointed out that there are so many better ways to spend $20,000, especially here at home.
With inflation out of control and retirement accounts dwindling, this administration continues to print money and fund nonsense projects around the world.
When will they start putting America first? When will they end their obsession with sexualizing children? Hopefully, voters are paying attention as we approach the mid-term elections on November 8th.
