BREAKING: Former Director of National Intelligence Says, FBI ‘For Sure’ Committed Crimes During Trump-Russia Investigation

Ric Grenell, former United States Ambassador to Germany and interim Director of National Intelligence, voiced assurance that certain officials and FBI agents broke US laws during the bureau’s investigation into potential coordination between his former employer, then-President Donald Trump, and Russia during the 2016 election.

Grenell also went on the “John Solomon Reports” podcast on Wednesday and said that he was certain that crimes had taken place since the day he had seen the evidence with his own eyes. He said that FBI officials had every reason to believe that the alleged proof of collusion was flawed, but yet they proceeded regardless, including deceiving the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and Congress with blatant lies and omissions.

“Political appointees and the leaders of the FBI and DOJ purposefully manipulated the truth,” He claims to have stated this to Solomon. “The people in the middle management. I’ve talked to them. I’ve talked to FBI agents, they knew that this was a phony exercise.” said the former Director.

“But they were caught by their bosses, who knew that this was a phony Russian collusion hoax but allowed this information to go to the FISA courts and to the media and to everywhere else, and they saw people manipulating it,” the former director added.

According to Just The News and their sources, after three years of inquiry, Special Prosecutor John Durham obtained a solitary conviction against Kevin Clinesmith on the claim that the former FBI lawyer doctored evidence to present to the courts.

Durham also charged former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann and former Steele dossier source Igor Danchenko with lying to the FBI investigation. Both have pled not guilty and await their trials.

“Do you have any doubt there are more crimes to be prosecuted by Durham?” Grenell was asked a question during the encounter.

“Yeah, I have no doubt,” Grenell answered.

Pressed as to whether he saw actually saw any evidence that the FBI violated laws during the probe, he added: “For sure.”

The former ambassador and DNI also noted that the FBI’s wrongdoing, which was first exposed in a Justice Department inspector general report in 2019, should be considered as part of a larger, and growing, trend of government agencies and the media abusing Americans’ trust.

“For the political people at DOJ and FBI, that’s where they need to be held to account,” he added. “We hear a lot about, you know, manipulative politicians and political appointees manipulating the powers of government. But I’ve never seen it more rampant than in Democratic administrations because the media allows them to get away with it.” he stated.

Grenell’s comments mirror those of his DNI replacement, John Ratcliffe, who told Fox News that he gave over more than 1,000 papers to Durham and is certain that further prosecutions would follow.

“I would expect there to be quite a few more indictments because of that,” Ratcliffe stated. “There was not a proper predicate to begin that investigation. John Durham has said that publicly already.”

He also alleged that then-President Barack Obama and then-Vice President Joe Biden were aware of the 2016 Clinton campaign’s efforts to “infiltrate” internet servers at Trump Tower and later the Trump White House in order to establish criminal linkages between the then-president and the Kremlin.

“What did John Brennan tell President Obama in the Oval Office in 2016?”, During Monday’s interview, Fox News presenter Bill Hemmer posed the question to Ratcliffe.

“Well, I can talk about this because this part has been declassified,” he answered.

“He briefed President Obama and Vice President Biden and other members of the national security team about this specific intelligence that John Durham now has about a Hillary Clinton plan to falsely accuse and vilify Donald Trump with a scandal, and the discussion around that and whether or not it was good intelligence,” Ratcliffe said.

“Those are the issues that John Durham is looking at and I think there will be many more… I would expect there to be quite a few more indictments because of that. There wasn’t a proper predicate to begin that investigation and John Durham has said that publicly already.” he added.
