BREAKING: Following A Fire Incident At A Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant, The United States Activates Its Nuclear Response Team

After a fire broke out in a Ukrainian nuclear complex, the US Department of Energy alerted its Nuclear Response Team. “I just spoke with Ukraine’s energy minister about the situation at the Zaphorizhizia nuclear plant.”
“Russian military exercises around the facility are irresponsible and must be stopped,” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm tweeted.

According to Fox News, Russian soldiers opened fire at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station in the city of Enerhodar, causing a fire and raising fears of a nuclear disaster on the scale of Chernobyl.
However, Ukraine’s nuclear authority said later Friday morning that the fire had been doused, the power units were still operational, and no increases in radiation levels had been observed. Nonetheless, the factory had slipped into the hands of Russians.
“The ZNPP power units are intact, however the unit 1 reactor compartment auxiliary buildings have been damaged, which does not impair the unit’s safety,” the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate stated. “The systems and components critical to the NPP’s safety are operating.” “At this time, no changes in the radiation status have been detected,” it stated.
“The site of the Zaporizhzhia NPP is now occupied by Russian Federation armed forces,” it claimed. While the fire was burning, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was feverishly trying to make a statement about the situation.

“The largest nuclear power facility in Europe is currently on fire,” Ukraine’s president declared. “Russian tanks are firing on the nuclear power plants. These are thermal imager-equipped tanks, so they know what they’re aiming at.” He emphasized that the Zaporizhzhya facility has six reactors, whereas just one detonated at Chernobyl in 1986.
During the fire, politicians from the United States and other NATO states made comments. “The #Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in #Ukraine has six reactors, making it the biggest in Europe and the ninth largest on the planet. #Russia is presently bombing it with mortars and RPGs.”
Parts of the plan are presently on fire, with Russians also shooting on firefighters, according to Republican Florida Senator Marco Rubio. “I just spoke with President @ZelenskyyUa about the severely worrying situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.” “Russia must immediately halt its attack on the power station and provide unrestricted access to the plant for rescue services,” UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said.
Others, though, believed that Ukraine was exaggerating the event. “Memo to the media: it makes perfect sense for Ukrainian officials to exaggerate this nuclear plant catastrophe, about which little is known, as the new Chernobyl.”
“They are attempting to elicit US/NATO action. They couldn’t be more specific. Are you aware of this?” reporter Michael Tracey said. “The Ukrainian government, including Zelensky, lied about Russians gravely damaging the Zaporizhzhia nuclear facility, causing radiation levels to rise, which they used to justify involving the US/NATO.” The Ukrainian government is actively attempting to spark WWIII, according to Chronicles Magazine editor Pedro Gonzalez.
