The Biden Administration and the Democrats have a Kamala Harris problem. The Vice-President can’t get out of her way. Whatever comes out of her mouth is either a confusing jumble of repetitive words that make no sense or they insult everyone.
Even the liberal media is turning on her. Recently, Bill Maher went after Vice-President Kamala Harris. Maher ripped Harris last night on his show ‘Real Time’ calling her a ‘bad politician.’ He said he wouldn’t be surprised if President Joe Biden replaced her on the ticket in 2024.
It is hard to imagine that Harris is even more unlikeable than Joe Biden but the polls indicate that it is the case. Biden, as bad as he is, can fall back on the excuse that he is old, frail, and physically unable to be coherent. Harris, on the other hand, is “off-putting” as Claire Flanagan from the Atlantic says.
On Friday, Harris spoke at the Democratic National Committee’s Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C. She made some controversial comments regarding Hurricane Ian’s recovery assistance.
“It is our lowest income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions and impacted by issues that are not of their own making,” Harris claimed. She made the historic hurricane about identity politics.
“And so we have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity, understanding not everyone starts out at the same place,” she added.
Hurricane Ian wreaked havoc on the State of Florida over the last several days. Fort Myers, the barrier island coastal city, was among the hardest hit areas when the hurricane moved across the Sunshine State.
The majority race in Fort Myers overall is white at 67.8% of residents. The next most-common racial group is Hispanic at 20.7%. There are more white people in the southwest areas of the city. People who identify as Hispanic are most likely living in the east places.
The fact is, Vice-President Harris had no idea at all about the racial make-up of the communities damaged during Hurricane Ian. She was looking to stir the race pot again. It is what the Democrats do.
Elon Musk, the Space X and Tesla CEO immediately fired back at Harris. He tweeted out “Should be according to greatest need, not race or anything else.” He made it crystal clear to the race-baiting Vice President. Assistance is for all and not just for some.
Musk wasn’t the only one to go after Harris for her racist comments. Radio host Jesse Kelly tweeted, “Again, it is not that we have moronic, insane, despicable people. Every nation has those. It is that our worst people now lead all our institutions. Honestly not sure how a nation can survive that.”
It was political commentator Ken Gardner that pointed out the obvious. “This has to violate at least a dozen federal and state anti-discrimination laws. Not to mention the 14th Amendment,” Gardner commented. What Harris said, is illegal and if followed through on, impeachment should occur.
The comments have gone relatively unchallenged in the mainstream media. Conservative media outlets have reported on it but a Google search reveals none of the major news networks have covered it nor any major print media outlets.
It is not surprising there is no coverage of the racist comments made by Harris. The Administration has a history of racist comments that have gone unnoticed by the legacy media. They blame the storm on global warming and if they could pin racist undertones on Hurricane Ian, they most certainly would.
