As Democrats try to paint all the violence happening in the country as coming from Mega MAGA, a trespasser was reported at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.

The Palm Beach Police Department received a trespassing call to which they responded on Thursday. Police vehicles were spotted outside of Mar-a-Lago around 8 a.m.

According to reports, the male trespasser refused to leave the premises.

“At 8:08 this morning, we had a male subject that was stopped at one of the gates refusing to leave the property,” Capt. Will Rothrock told The New York Post in a statement.

Rothrock characterized the incident as a “routine trespass complaint.”

“We responded, spoke briefly with him, and he was issued a written warning for trespass and he left the area so there wasn’t an incident report or anything associated with it.”

No information has been obtained as to why the man was there or what his intentions were or whether the former president was at the resort at the time.

Trump was scheduled to speak at an Iowa campaign rally for GOP Governor Kim Reynolds and Senator Chuck Grassley that evening.

The Secret Service, which initially alerted the police, conducted a search of the property in light of the incident.

Their mission to protect current and former presidents can be traced back to 1901 when President William McKinley was assassinated.

The Secret Service was granted the authority to protect the President of the United States following that tragedy.

Congress passed legislation that provided funding for the Secret Service to provide such protection in 1906. According to the agency’s protective mission statement, “the number of our protectees and the scope of the protective mission has expanded in response to the evolving threat environment.”

In our more recent history, threats against sitting members of Congress are on the rise according to the Capitol Police. From 2017 to 2020, there was a more than 100% increase in ‘total threats and directions of interest.’

The incident at Mar-a-Lago comes less than a week after the brutal attack on Speaker Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi and the same day we learned of a shooting at the home of a North Carolina GOP candidate’s parents’ home with his two young children inside.

The shooting followed numerous death threats Mr. Harrigan had received during his run for North Carolina’s 14th congressional district seat.

The candidate insists that he’s not afraid of the threats and is focused on winning his election. In his statement, he said, “I’m focused on fixing the economy, lowering prices and keeping our streets safe.”

Crime and safety are issues for all Americans right now. We need to elect people who are going to stand up for the rights of law-abiding citizens.

No more soft-on-crime policies. No more get-out-of-jail-free cards!

Criminals need deterrents and right now, there are not many in place in our Democrat-run country.
