Border Town Mayor: “Migrant Situation is getting horrible”

Source: Fox News

Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” on Friday had the Mayor of Texas Bordertown McAllen, Mayor Javier Villalobos (R) on the show and he stated that the migrant situation in Texas is “getting horrible,” hotels are filling up, and migrants can’t be held “in one place unless they want to be.”

He explained that because of The Biden Administration’s policy, we are seeing a massive surge in illegal migration on the southern border, and holding all the migrants in one facility is getting harder every day.

Some migrants are also testing positive for coronavirus and they can’t be transported to other facilities. Even the hotels in the states where some migrants were temporarily kept are getting filled up.

Some reports claim that the illegal migrants can move around freely when kept at hotels and the local communities of these border towns are left to deal with the fallout.

The Border Patrol reported the record-breaking action in 21 years in June 2021. Agents recorded over 178,416 arrests, defying DHS’ predictions of crises slowing down in summer. Border Patrol agents had more than 1,400 unaccompanied children in its custody in July.

The crisis on the southern border is getting worse every day ever since the Biden admin took office in January 2021. What do you think of the current border crises that this administration has created? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
