New information has just come out regarding the Biden classified documents scandal.
According to a report by Fox News, Joe and Hunter Biden were seen entering their Delaware home just four days before classified documents were found in the Delware home’s garage.
This news came out during an episode of “The Five” when host Dana Perino said that Fix had received word that Hunter Biden had been inside the Delaware home just four days before the documents were found.
“And we have this other information that Hunter was [at the home] just four days before,” Perino said.
The Department of Justice is also not being transparent about the situation. The Secret Service did not keep a visitor log for the home.
Is there a coverup?
The Wall Street Journal reported:
The Justice Department considered having FBI agents monitor a search by President Biden’s lawyers for classified documents at his homes but decided against it, both to avoid complicating later stages of the investigation and because Mr. Biden’s attorneys had quickly turned over a first batch and were cooperating, according to people familiar with the matter.
Why were Biden’s attorneys allowed to search for the documents, but the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s estate?
On Tuesday, the Biden administration received an ethics complaint over the classified document scandal. Government watchdog group, Protect the Public’s Trust (PPT) filed a complaint with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.
“The American public will not tolerate a two-tiered system of justice – with well-connected insiders subject to a lower standard of scrutiny than the normal citizen,” PPT director Mike Chamberlain told Fox News.
“President Biden promised the most ethical and transparent administration in history,” Chamberlain said.
“If the White House compounded a scandal involving possible mishandling of classified documents by improperly using taxpayer resources for his personal benefit and putting White House attorneys in positions that created conflicts of interest, we could be witnessing a serious betrayal of the public’s already-plummeting trust.”
The White House confirmed that the classified materials were found at Biden’s Delaware home. That came after classified documents had also been found at the Penn Biden Center in Washington.
Biden spends a lot of his time at his Delaware home, rather than at the White House. According to the New York Post, Biden has spent 151 days of his presidency at the 6,850-square-foot mansion.
Hunter Biden has also been living in the Delaware home, where the classified documents have been stored.
Federal law states that officials who permit the removal of classified information from its rightful place through “gross negligence” could be imprisoned for up to ten years.
Former Maryland US Attorney Robert Hur has been called upon to investigate whether Biden or others criminally mishandled classified documents.
House Republicans are also wanting to know just who has been coming to and from the Delaware home and are asking that the White House release visitor logs from the Wilmington home.
