Bombshell: GOP Rep. Jim Jordan Blasts Democrats As He Claims That They Are Trying To Stop Trump’s 2024 Run Through False Investigations

The GOP Rep. from Ohio, Jim Jordan, claimed that the House Committee investigation led by the Democrats regarding the January 6 Capitol riots was just a “political operation” which was used to stop Donald Trump from the 2024 presidential run.

Jordan stated:

“There’s been subpoenas issued to 11 individuals, 11 American citizens who asked the government permission on an application to hold the Trump rally. The government granted it and the January 6 committee petitioned them to ask them questions about exercising their First Amendment right to assemble.” 

He added:

“And why would they subpoena me? I didn’t do anything wrong — I talked to the president. I talk to the president all the time. I just think that’s — you know where I’m at on this commission — this is all about going after President Trump. That seems obvious.”

Jordan explained:

“Everyone in the country sees this as a political operation. This is designed to get after President Trump. Because they don’t want him to run again.”

Earlier this year, House GOP lawmakers issued a report that exposed Democratic Rep. from California and the former House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, and her role in several intelligence and security failures during the January 6 riots.

The New York Post reported:

“Days after Pelosi’s Jan. 6 select committee recommended insurrection charges against former president Donald Trump over the Capitol riot, Republicans have hit back with a counter-investigation apportioning blame for the internal security breakdown on Jan. 6 to Pelosi and a dysfunctional Capitol Police intelligence division.”
