Bombshell: Department Of Defense Report Reveals Massive Details About The Current Condition America’s Weakening Military

The bombshell report by the United States Department of Defense (DOD) has revealed some major irregularities about the preparedness state of the U.S. military.

The report was also mentioned during a congressional hearing. 

The study disclosed that over 77% Americans, between the ages of 17 and 24, are unfit for the military. 

Just The News reported that this number of unfit Americans has gone up by nearly 6% since 2017.

The main driving factor for the rise in ineligible individuals is “obesity.”

Just The News also revealed that “42.9% of the U.S. adult population qualify as obese.” However, “that figure was more than 10 points lower” in 1999. 

Obesity rates are surging among Americans and have been affecting the military from the outside. 

However, several internal factors, such as woke policies, are affecting the military preparedness from the inside as well.

The Director of the Center for National Defense at The Heritage Foundation, Thomas Spoehr, explained:

“Woke ideology undermines military readiness in various ways. It undermines cohesiveness by emphasizing differences based on race, ethnicity, and sex. It undermines leadership authority by introducing questions about whether promotion is based on merit or quota requirements.”

He further added: 

“It [wokeness] leads to military personnel serving in specialties and areas for which they are not qualified or ready. And it takes time and resources away from training activities and weapons development that contribute to readiness.”

He continued: 

“Wokeness in the military also affects relations between the military and society at large. It acts as a disincentive for many young Americans in terms of enlistment. And it undermines wholehearted support for the military by a significant portion of the American public at a time when it is needed the most.“
