Bombshell: Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Is Looking At Ethics Complaint By Heritage Foundation For Defaming The Creator Of “Libs of TikTok”

Earlier this week, The Heritage Foundation has requested the Office of Congressional Ethics to probe into the Democratic Rep. from New York, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, for “defaming” and “falsely accusing” Chaya Raichik, the originator of the Twitter account “Libs of TikTok.”
The complaint cites that during the House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing on February 8 last month, AOC argued that Raichik lied and made a false claim in a tweet from last year which stated that Boston Children’s Hospital is “now offering ‘gender-affirming hysterectomies’ for young girls.”
The tweet by Raichik was feedback to a video of a medical professional who was explaining hysterectomies, though he didn’t mention the age group of the patients.
Ocasio-Cortez asked an ex-Twitter executive regarding Raichik’s tweet and stated:
“Are you aware… that from August 11th to August 16th that account posted false information about Boston Children’s Hospital claiming that they were providing hysterectomies to children?”
She added:
“And are you aware that this lie was then circulated by other prominent far-right influences?”
Heritage’s objection claims that with these controversial statements, Ocasio-Cortez breached a House ethics law by “knowingly and intentionally defaming Chaya Raichik, creator of the viral Libs of TikTok account, falsely accusing her of lying and disseminating disinformation…”
The nine-page objection protects Raichik’s statement that Boston Children’s Hospital performs gender-affirming hysterectomies on young girls.
Apart from being the “premier pediatric hospital,” Heritage cited that the hospital’s website has mentioned that the hospital performs gender affirmation surgery on “eligible adolescents,” and also the Journal of Clinical Medicine has registered that the hospital has “performed 65 double-mastectomies on minors over three years.”
