Blue’s Clues, a popular toddlers TV-show, features drag queen character to teach children about Pride Month

Popular Nickelodeon children’s show, Blue’s Clues, has created an episode featuring a drag queen to teach children about Pride Month.
The show includes a pride parade showcasing a song about non-traditional families, such as those with transgender and nonbinary folk. The main character, an animated puppy named Blue, is joined by Nina West who voices a contestant from RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The show has aired since 1996 and taken on an increasingly progressive slant throughout the decades. Recent criticism accuses the show of preying on children and sharing inappropriate content.

“That Blue’s Clues has decided to add sexuality and gender material to its programming is both disappointing and disturbing,” said Maria Keffler, author of the book Desist, Detrans, & Detox: Getting Your Child Out of the Gender Cult told The Christian Post Monday. She continued, “Pre-adolescent children do not nor should not have explicit knowledge about or driving interest in sex or gender identity.”
Allie B. Stuckey, Conservative commentator and host of the podcast “Relatable” similarly called the show “predatory” and stated, “kids are always the unconsenting subjects of leftist social experiments, from population control to the redefinition of gender and sexuality to communism itself.”
