BLM makes THIS INSANE statement blaming AMERICA for living conditions in COMMUNIST CUBA

Black Lives Matter released a statement blaming America for the living conditions in Cuba.

The statement blames the US economic embargo on Cuba, writing, “This cruel and inhumane policy, instituted with the explicit intention of destabilizing the country and undermining Cubans’ right to choose their own government, is at the heart of Cuba’s current crisis.” According to BLM, the US has cut off food, medicine and supplies to the island nation since 1962.

They go on to state, “Cuba has historically demonstrated solidarity with oppressed peoples of African descent.” Although, historically, Cuba has empowered leaders such as Che Guevera who wrote in his diary of black people as, “those magnificent examples of the African race who have maintained their racial purity thanks to their lack of an affinity with bathing.”

He also thought white Europeans were superior to people of African descent, and described Mexicans as “a band of illiterate Indians.” According to Human Progress, “Homosexuals, Jehova’s Witnesses, Afro-Cuban priests, and others who were believed to have committed a crime against revolutionary morals, were forced to work in these camps to correct their “anti-social behavior.” Many of them died; others were tortured or raped.”

American lawmakers spoke out against the organization’s statement. Senator Ted Cruz said, “It [ the Cuban Communist Party] has brutalized & denied freedom to generations of Cubans, and forced my family & so many others to flee. The American people stand squarely with the men & women of Cuba and their noble fight for liberty.”
