Biden: ‘We haven’t ruled out’ possibility that pandemic from china was deliberately unleashed

New reports regarding the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) have raised speculations regarding the origins of COVID-19.

When asked if the pandemic may have been deliberately unleashed, the Biden administration said they “haven’t ruled out” that possibility. The remarks were made by White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. “This is why the president is asking the US intelligence community in cooperation with other elements of our government to redouble efforts to collect and analyze information that could bring the world closer to a definitive conclusion on the origin of the virus,” said Jean-Pierre.

She continued, “It will be another whole of government effort … including work by our national labs and other agencies, importantly we will continue to push for a stronger multi-lateral investigation into the origins of the virus in China and we will continue to press China to participate in a full, transparent, evidence-based, international investigation with the needed access to get to the bottom of the virus.” When asked what consequences China will face, Jean-Pierre said “I’m not going to prejudge or make any announcements at this time.” A report concluding the investigation will be delivered to President Biden in 90 days.
