In this speech, he explained his decision to withdraw from Afghanistan but failed to address what many are describing as “incompetent” and “ill-prepared withdrawal”

“I am president of the United States and the buck stops with me. I’m deeply saddened by the facts we now face but I do not regret my decision to end America’s warfighting in Afghanistan.” He said

The White House also released a statement claiming it’s from President Biden where they defended his actions and blamed former President Trump for all the chaos.

After this 18-minute long scripted “press conference” Biden left the east room of the White House without taking any questions from the White House Press pool.

Even White House press secretary Jen Psaki is on a week-long break at the same time as President Biden. Fox News sent questions to Psaki’s White House email address and received an auto-reply.

“I will be out of the office from August 15th-August 22nd,” the email read.

Such silence from America’s leadership in a critical time is unexpected and is receiving strong criticisms from all sides.
