Ben Shapiro DESTROYS MSNBC Contributor Promoting Critical Race Theory

Source: Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO)

On Friday, Daily Wire host and editor Ben Shapiro appeared on “Real Time with Bill Maher” and destroyed fellow guest and MSNBC commentator, Malcolm Nance for pushing false claims about the January 6th Capitol Protest and defending critical race theory.

When Nance repeated his claim that former President Donald Trump “managed to mobilize 40,000 people to lay siege to the Capitol” Ben schooled him with actual facts and pointed out the ridiculousness of this claim: “One, 40,000 people did not assault the Capitol, okay? It’s just factually inaccurate,” Shapiro said. “There were maybe 1,000 people. That is not making light of the evil of those people who all will end up rotting in prison, as they should.” He added

To which Nance countered by asking, “How many people came to that rally?”

Shapiro responded, “Were all those people assaulting the Capitol? Is that your contention now?”

At a later event, Shapiro was asked about Critical Race Theory and he schooled the MSNBC panelist and Bill Maher’s liberal audience with epic facts and real-life logic.

“Critical Race Theory, essentially, argues that racism is baked into all the systems of American society and that any sort of neutral system is in fact a guise for racial power,” Shapiro said.

“Even things that are purportedly good, in terms of race, so long as they uphold these broader systems, things like capitalism, things like the meritocracy, these things are just guises for power,” he added. “And so what that boils down to in sort of practical terms is, all disparity equals discrimination.”

He later concluded with a cherry on top “If you’re going to criticize the meritocracy as an outgrowth of white supremacy, then you’re going to have to tear down the system that you’ve succeeded in because you have merit.”
