As Drama At Border Continues To Worsen, GOP Members Want Kamala Harris Out

In a highly charged week for the Democrats, which includes a sexual allegation scandal hanging over the head of New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, as well as calls for the impeachment of President Biden in the aftermath of his atrocious handling of the situation at the border, several Republicans are gunning for the clownish and risible figure of Vice President Kamala Harris, and for the same reason.

In a horrifyingly enlightening report put of by Todd Bensman of the Center for Immigration Studies, he highlights that for “… the sixth consecutive month since President Joe Biden took office and followed through on campaign promises to dismantle his predecessor’s deterrence-based policies, the number of illegal immigrants encountered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection broke records, reaching 210,000 in July, the Associated Press reported Monday. The outlet cited a court filing by David Shahoulian, assistant secretary for border and immigration policy at the Department of Homeland Security. Based on past trends, the vast majority of those encountered were likely illegal immigrants apprehended by the Border Patrol”.  

After being named the unofficial “Border Czar“, Harris’ inaction would seem to be the bull’s eye on the issue at the border on which Republicans should take aim.

U.N Ambassador Nikki Haley recently tweeted, “Kamala Harris must be fired from her role overseeing the border crisis. She has failed to secure the border and has emboldened cartels. We need real leadership,”.

Additionally, Texas GOP Senator Ted Cruz tweeted out “Hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, thousands of pounds of dangerous drugs including fentanyl, and terrorists are flooding across the border due to Biden and Harris’ open borders. And what’s Joe Biden doing today? Speaking at a DNC fundraiser #BidenBorderCrisis,”.

Republican Representative Glenn Grothman tweeted “The @VP STILL hasn’t visited the border. You can’t truly know the situation until you speak with people on the ground. I and 55 of my colleagues sent this letter to @POTUS demanding her removal from this position because 180k encounters, a 21-year high, is unacceptable”.

In an ever worsening avalanche of disapproval from both sides of the aisle this past week, culminating in Harris being named the single most unpopular Vice-President in modern American history, it seems that both Biden and Harris’ tenure may well be coming to an end if impeachment charges are brought.
