Major Development: An Official From Biden Admin Disproves Joy Behar’s Claim That Donald Trump Is Responsible For East Palestine Train Disaster
The co-host from ABC’s “The View”, Joy Behar, has been recently corrected by an official from the Biden administration.
Last week on Thursday, Behar claimed that the residents of East Palestine received what they deserved with the train derailment incident as they voted for Trump.
During the show, co-host Alyssa Farah-Griffin stated:
“One thing I just want to say is I do think this was an unforced error by President Biden. It was 20 days before we had Secretary Buttigieg go down, 10 days before he put out a statement acknowledging it. This is Trump country. He won by 40 points. He is a president for all Americans, I believe that, but he needs to show that he is. It was time for him to be there.”
“I don’t know why they would ever vote for [Trump], for somebody who, by the way, he placed someone with deep ties to the chemical industry in charge of the EPA’s chemical safety office. That’s who you voted for, in that district. Donald Trump, who reduces all safety, he did!”
“I think this is Donald Trump’s fault.”
“It’s his fault, and then he shows up.”
However on Friday, Jennifer Homendy, the NTSB Chair slammed Behar’s claim she made on “The View” about former President Donald Trump and his voters.
Homendy noted that the brake rule “would not have prevented” the horrible disaster.
“The wheel bearing failed on car number 23. So even with ECP brakes, the derailment would have occurred.”
She also called out those individuals who are trying to play politics with the disastrous tragedy.
“I don’t understand why this has gotten so political. This is a community that is suffering. This is not about politics. This is about addressing their needs, their concerns.”
