With respect to the old slogan that the only two things we as a species can be certain of are death and taxes, there might be a third certainty to be introduced. That is, of course, the reliable stream of leftist vitriol when something they don’t like happens. Specifically as it relates to Trump. Here, we saw this in full form as woke Bette Midler went into a terrific epileptic tantrum following the reinstatement of Donald Trump on Twitter, courtesy of new Twitter czar Elon Musk.

In fact, it is now being reported by MagaConservatives.com that:

Hollywood star Bette Midler threw an anti-immigrant temper tantrum after the richest and smartest man in the world overruled the Dems and let former President Donald Trump back on Twitter.

Musk let the people vote if he should lift the Trump ban. Midler got nervous and urged her followers to vote no on Trump. She said: “WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?  This a**hole is going to give that lying sack of sh*t another crack at the brass ring!  Vote NO to reinstate him on TWITTER!

After she lost the vote Musk said: “The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.” Midler was not happy and threw a temper tantrum saying:

“A tragic day for #America, which Elon doesn’t understand, because at heart, he’s not American, any more than #Murdoch is.

“An illegal immigrant, raised in Apartheid SA, he’s just fine with racism & hate. His fake Vox Populi! He was always going to let him back: he needs the eyes.

It was further reported that:

“Mark Burnett, a native Brit, came to the U.S. illegally, with ‘no money, no green card, no nothing.’

“He then took a habitually failing businessman and turned him into a pretend savant for TV.

“Afterward, #RupertMurdoch, a native Australian, gave Trump an even larger audience, The loyal viewers of #FoxNews, and the readers of the New York Post.

“Trump has called immigration the enemy of great cultures.

“Given all that Burnett and Murdoch have done, through Trump, to destroy American culture, and its Democracy,

“I am inclined to agree with him.”

It was further reported by The Hill that as far back as 2021:

Former President Trump is slamming Bette Midler as a “wacko” following the singer’s controversial remarks about West Virginia voters.

The “Hocus Pocus” star — one of Hollywood’s most vocal Trump critics — faced fierce backlash after a Monday tweet calling out Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and his home state.

Manchin, Midler said, wants the rest of the country to be like West Virginia: “Poor, illiterate and strung out.” The criticism appeared to be in response to Manchin blocking Democrats’ social and climate spending package in the 50-50 Senate.

The 76-year-old Academy Award-winner quickly issued an apology to “the good people of [West Virginia],” writing to her 2 million followers, “I’m just seeing red; #JoeManchin and his whole family are a criminal enterprise. Is he really the best WV has to offer its own citizens?”

“But when I say much less offensive things about her, everybody goes wild,” Trump said.

Teasing a potential forthcoming memoir, Trump said, “Don’t worry, I’ll tell the real facts about her in my book.”

The 45th president and Midler have long been engaged in a war of words even before he entered the White House. In 2012, the then-New York real estate developer called Midler an “extremely unattractive woman.” Trump also took aim at the Kennedy Center Honors recipient in 2014, saying her Oscars performance that year “sucked.” In 2019, Trump blasted Midler as a “washed up psycho” for sharing a fake quote about him.

So, the Leftist meltdown over Elon Musk seems to continue with no sign of slowing down. As an interesting plot twist in this unfolding drama, Donald Trump seems to have repudiated the implied offer to become active on Twitter again. In fact, the former President said that he sees “no reason” for returning to Twitter after Elon Musk reinstated his account on Saturday. “I don’t see any reason for it, they have a lot of problems at Twitter, you see what’s going on. It may make it, it may not make it,” Trump said during a virtual appearance before the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership meeting.
