One Republican who has been out of the limelight for some time has been renowned surgeon and former Presidential candidate, Dr. Ben Carson. However, Dr. Carson recently broke his silence on the issue of mutilating the genitals of children in the name of progress.

He was recently approached by a well known Conservative news outlet, The Daily Caller, and was asked on the whole matter. The specific questions was “If you were working at a hospital and your hospital approached you and asked you to perform sex-change treatment on a minor, what would you do?”

It was recently reported by The Washington Examiner that:

Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson “would absolutely, adamantly refuse, in all circumstances,” to perform transgender surgical procedures on minors, he said this week.

In a new interview, Carson, who was once director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, sounded off on sex-change treatments for children, which are designed to make them appear as the opposite sex.

“There’s a reason why they’re called minors,” he told the Daily Caller. “They don’t really know a lot of things, and they learn over the course of time as they become mature.”

He further predicted that society will look back on this period of time, in which some claim that children can decide their gender and should be mutilated to present as such, and wonder, “How could those people be so foolish?”

The Washington Examiner went on to report that:

His message to physicians performing these procedures is to “remember the Hippocratic oath and that they first do no harm.”

Carson advised that “they recognize that they’re expected to lead out in this area, and not be followers, and not be sheeple. But lead out, and to help people understand that children are in the process of maturation.”

He noted that it is normal for children to display curiosity and do things that are not considered traditionally male or female.

This doesn’t make them transgender and doesn’t warrant surgical intervention, he said.

Repercussions over the normalization of these procedures are already emerging. A former transgender child named Chloe Cole, for example, recently joined Tucker Carlson on Fox News to discuss her intent to sue the doctors who mutilated her for medical malpractice.

Cole was administered puberty blockers when she was just 13 years old and underwent a double mastectomy, in which both of her breasts were removed, when she was 15 years old.

It was further reported by The Hill that:

Ben Carson and famed civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump have joined forces to write “Crisis in the Classroom.”

Carson said the book, released on Tuesday, came together because “there were people from multiple viewpoints who all felt the same: that the school system was failing the children, and if they’re failing the children, they’re failing our nation.”

“We really need to be talking about this and not just sweeping it under the rug,” Carson, a 2016 Republican presidential candidate and former neurosurgeon, told ITK in a joint interview with Williams.

The “Armstrong Williams Show” host, who is also an opinion contributor for The Hill, said he, Carson and Crump — who are all friends — committed to “put aside our political allegiances and do something for these parents and for these kids, for a change.”

The Hill went on to report that:

In the collection of essays, Williams writes that education is “in a free fall in the United States despite climbing per pupil expenditures.”

“Each year, the collective IQ or knowledge of leaders and the citizenry plunges to new depths of ignorance,” writes Williams.

“Even members of Congress are clueless about the three branches of government and the allocation of constitutional responsibilities. Students know virtually nothing about history — even of Watergate or the Vietnam War.”

Carson argues that the “havoc and chaos currently plaguing our society have many of their roots in the dismal educational environment that has been allowed to fester in many communities throughout our nation.”

The question and discussion surrounding the ethic of transgenderism has been a subject for debate for some time. In fact, The Raging Patriot reported back towards the end of October that for competition to be fair, women should compete with women and men should compete with men.

That’s a statement that will get someone canceled in 2022. Cherokee County Schools in North Carolina might be on the chopping block.

The school district voted to stop all future competition between one of the female volleyball teams from a high school in the district and the other teams after a major injury occurred. A trans player on the Highlands School volleyball team injured a girl on the opposite team during a volleyball match.

The trans player spiked the ball in an opposing player’s face with such force that she ended up with “severe head and neck injuries, resulting in long-term concussion symptoms including vision problems.”
