BREAKING: Joe Biden Gets Put On NOTICE After Attacking Elon Musk, Threatens To Investigate The Twitter CEO As A National Security Threat

We know that Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter last month sent blue-check users, media personalities, and celebrities into a tailspin last month, but who would have guessed it would prompt an investigation relating to national security?

During a press conference on Wednesday, Bloomberg reporter Jenny Leonard asked President Biden, “Do you think Elon Musk is a threat to US national security? And should the US — and with the tools you have — investigate his joint acquisition of Twitter with foreign governments, which include the Saudis?”

In only his third solo White House press conference, Biden managed to spark outrage from his critics with his response.

The president said, “I think that Elon Musk’s cooperation and/or technical relationships with other countries is worthy of being looked at.”

He went on, “Whether or not he is doing anything inappropriate, I’m not suggesting that. I’m suggesting that it’s worth being looked at.”

Journalist Brian Karem issued a follow-up question asking how, to which Biden responded, “There’s a lot of ways.”

Conversely, when asked about his own family’s overseas business dealings, he seemed to think it was funny and laughed it off. He said the “American public wants to move on” and “it’s almost comedy.”

There are a lot of American people who don’t want to move on and are hoping that with a majority in the House and, possibly, the Senate, we can get some answers.

Musk purchased Twitter after the platform’s staff engaged in the censoring of any information hurtful to Biden or the Democrat party.

In October 2020, they banned the distribution of the New York Post’s scoop on Hunter Biden’s laptop and Joe Biden’s part in his son’s business in China and Ukraine.

Is anyone surprised that, now that Musk owns Twitter and there may once again be free speech on the platform, it’s time for an investigation?

Biden’s call for a federal investigation of the new owner of Twitter contradicts a statement made last month by the White House press secretary.

Karine Jean-Pierre said that Musk’s takeover of the social media company was not under federal investigation when asked at an October 24th briefing.

“Those reportings are not true. So we’ll leave that there. The national security review, that is not true,” Jean-Pierre said.

In response to Biden’s statement on Wednesday, independent journalist Matt Taibbi tweeted, “Where’s the alleged wrongdoing justifying this? It’s bad enough that we investigate people without cause now, but having the President label people threats in public? And people are okay with this?”

It’s just another day in Joe Biden’s world of lopsided justice. Going after his political enemies seems to be the norm.

Some Senate Republicans are calling for a ban on another popular social media platform, TikTok. TikTok is owned by ByteDance, a company based in Beijing, China, and is considered a major threat to U.S. national security.
