Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake can’t open her mouth without someone from the Democrat party accusing her of being an election denier, a far-right extremist, or someone who “stirs up violent feelings.”

When Lake made a statement referring to the violence that took place in Nancy Pelosi’s home last week, it was taken out of context.

After saying that the Speaker of the House has protection when she’s in D.C., she made a comment that “Apparently her [Nancy Pelosi] house doesn’t have a lot of protection,” in reference to the attack on Mr. Pelosi.

Hillary Clinton, the twice-failed presidential candidate, took the opportunity to disparage Lake as someone no one should trust with power over their lives.

While speaking to Joy Reid on MSNBC, Clinton said, “the level of, just plain crazy, violent, hate rhetoric coming out of Republicans, you played something from the Republican candidate for governor in Arizona.

I want viewers, I want voters to stop and to ask themselves, would we trust somebody who is stirring up these violent feelings, who is pointing fingers, scapegoating, making a joke about a violent attack on Paul Pelosi.”

She went on to ask, “Why would you trust that person to have power over you, your family, your business, your community?”

Lake was given a chance to respond to Clinton’s remarks in an interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News.

Lake fired back. “I was talking about our children and why they don’t have better security. And I said that our politicians have security and that our athletes have security, and we need to have security. Go back and look at the tape and don’t do any creative editing, like the fake media tends to do, and you’ll see what I was saying.”

Kari Lake is no stranger to the camera, coming off a long career as a television news anchor. And she is never one to back down.

So it came as a surprise when she said she was a little concerned about Hillary “badmouthing” her.

Hannity and the audience quickly realized she was being facetious as she went on to say, “She looked angry and actually scared. Just, completely unrelated, I want you to know, just in case you’re wondering, I’m in perfect health, my brakes on my car are in good shape, and I’m not suicidal.”

Following Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged suicide attempt in July of 2019, #ClintonBodyCount was trending on Twitter. Kari Lake’s joke is in reference to the theory that Bill and Hillary Clinton are linked to a number of suspicious deaths.

The theory, whether you believe it or call it a conspiracy, dates back to the early 90s when a newsletter called “Coincidence or the Kiss of Death?” was published theorizing that several people with ties to the Clintons died under mysterious circumstances.

Does GOP candidate Kari Lake need to watch her back?
