As always the Second Amendment is a topic on which most people will unfailingly have an opinion. That is at least progress of a kind. Too often people are too caught up in their daily lives (or at least that’s what they say) to have a real concern of passion behind major or key issues.

The latest news comes to us courtesy of Texas, but deep down, we all kind of knew that, didn’t we? A mom in Texas saved her family from an intruder by opening fire on the thug which caused him to flee the house. The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office said the mother was holed up in a bedroom with her children when she warned Carlos Garcia she was armed and that she had dialed 911.

The New York Post went on to report that:

A gun-toting Texas mother shot and wounded a burglary suspect through a door while huddling with her children during a home invasion last week, authorities said.

Deputies from the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office responded around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a burglary in progress at a home located in the 5500 block of Nardo Street in Edinburg.

The New York Post further reported that:

The homeowner told cops that a man had broken into her home through the garage and was trying to enter her bedroom, where she was hiding with her children.

The woman said she warned the intruder that she was armed and that police had been called, but he refused to leave and continued trying to gain access to the locked bedroom, according to the sheriff’s office.

At one point, the mom was said to have grabbed her gun and fired a single shot through the door, striking the suspect in the left arm and causing him to flee.

It was further reported by Slay News that:

So, in this story you have yet another triumph of the second amendment. Once again, it is a topic that many people want to weigh in on. In fact, The Raging Patriot recently reported that Kyle Rittenhouse has just announced that he is about to launch a new YouTube channel. In fact, it is now being reported by The New York Post that cleared Kenosha killer Kyle Rittenhouse has started a YouTube channel devoted to guns and Second Amendment rights. “Hello! I am super excited to announce I will be starting a Youtube channel!” he wrote alongside a 35-second teaser in which he promised some “great content” to come.
