RINO DOWN IN DEFEAT – Trump Backed, Former Green Beret, Takes Down RINO Republican Who Voted To Impeach Trump

After the incumbent, who voted to impeach President Donald Trump, failed to secure enough votes to qualify for the November midterm elections, Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA) has conceded her bid for reelection in Washington’s Third District. 

Kent, a former Green Beret, was endorsed by Trump and secured 22.8% percent of the vote while Beutler only secured 22.3% percent of the vote.

Beutler released a statement following her loss: “Thank you, Southwest Washington, for entrusting me six times with the privilege of representing you in Congress. Ever since I was first elected to this seat I have done my very best to serve my home region and our country. Though my campaign came up short this time, I’m proud of all we’ve accomplished together for the place where I was raised and still call home.”

The state of Washington utilizes an open primary system, which means that the two candidates with the most votes will compete against one another in the November election. A Retired Army Special Forces chief warrant officer named Joe Kent defeated Beutler.

This is a huge victory for the Trump administration as Beutler was one of the few Republicans who voted to impeach the President on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Trump had publicly called for her defeat in the primaries and it seems that his endorsement of Kent was enough to swing the vote in his favor.

Kent will now go up against Democratic nominee Carolyn Long in the general election. It is yet to be seen whether or not Trump’s endorsement will be enough to secure Kent a win in November, but this is certainly a blow to the Democrats who were hoping to pick up this seat.

This is a huge victory for President Trump and his supporters, who have made it clear that they will not support any Republican who does not stand with the president. While Beutler may have been a popular politician in her district, her vote to impeach Trump was her downfall.

 Kent is a strong supporter of President Trump and has said that he will work with the president to help Make America Great Again. This is a huge victory for Trump and his supporters and sends a clear message to Never Trump Republicans: you will be voted out.
