Twitter’s engineering manager is “broken” now that Tesla CEO Elon Musk has bought a controlling stake in the firm and joined the board of directors. Jay Holler went on a multi-day diatribe on the site, expressing his feelings about the news of Musk’s new board seat. “The ramifications of this poll will be crucial,” said Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, who reposted Musk’s poll about adding an edit button to tweets. Please vote with caution.” That caused holler to tweet, “NOW it might be time for an emergency Space,” as a quotation.

Ok @Zeke_Cao NOW it might be time for an emergency Space… https://t.co/NcAxBujS9o

“The problem with @elonmusk is that he has demonstrated a pattern of harmful behavior consistently that disproportionately impacts marginalized people, so maybe let’s not give him any more power than he already stole?” In another tweet, he stated.

Holler continued, outraged, once Musk’s appointment to the board of directors was announced.

“For the first time, @Twitter leadership includes someone I had proactively Blocked on this platform,” he remarked.

These two tweets which received the most publicity, nonetheless, were Holler’s declarations that the news had “radicalized” and “broken” him.

OK I’m radicalized now.

It’s broken me

The engineering manager ended up going on to post a tweetstorm to stories, as well as Musk’s own tweets, claiming Musk is a “misogynist,” “sadistic,” and transphobic figure.

Hey @paraga how do you feel about the anti-trans rhetoric posted by our new board member less than 30 days ago? https://t.co/1vgscoiyqR

Holler’s string of comments have been widely criticized and condemned on Twitter. But one Conservative Brief correspondent was able to speak with him about his viewpoint, which he is as entitled to as anybody else’s, and this is what he had to say. “Is this why so many individuals are suspended for expressing their opinions?” he was asked. Is it true that everyone on the other end of the line thinks the same way you do? Why do we have to agree with everything you say?”

He then went on to say that “We will never all agree and if we did that would be very sad and boring. I’m no expert on suspensions (and neither are you unless you work on that specifically) but there are terms of service users agree to and when they violate them they are subject to suspension.”

“That said, when a person holds a position of power they have a responsibility to the people they impact, and especially in a leadership position like a board seat. I have witnessed a demonstrated pattern of problematic behavior that informs my opinion of his fitness to lead,” he remarked. “That said, of course, this is just my opinion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and you’re free to disagree. I appreciate you engaged in a non-toxic way,” he added.

After that, a Conservative Brief writer said, “That is critical, and as conservatives, it is all too easy to pump our chests about free speech while verbally assaulting someone who uses it. However, that is not the definition of free speech. As our talk progressed, I discovered Holler to be a pleasant individual who disagrees with me on a few subjects, but that is America. Being a defender of free expression does not include bullying someone into submission” The correspondent for the news organization stated.

The outlet’s writer went on to claim, “Musk, for one, is prepared to meet with Twitter employees who are “worried” after he became the social media platform’s largest shareholder. According to The Washington Post, Musk will conduct a town hall with employees at the San Francisco-based company who are anxious that his new majority ownership would put a stop to their woke agenda.”

The outlet journalist finished by stating, “In an email to employees, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal announced the AMA, or “Ask Me Anything” session, but he did not specify when it would take place. “We say Twitter is what’s going on and what’s being talked about right now.” We [at] Twitter are frequently what’s going on and what people are talking about. That was absolutely the case this week,” he said in an email to workers on Thursday inviting them to the AMA. “Many of you have had various sorts of questions concerning Elon Musk following our board announcement, and I want to welcome you to express those questions to him,” he added.”
