It was recently reported that on Wednesday that Fox News’ Host Tucker Carlson once again topped the cable news ratings in both total viewers and in the key 25-54 demographic. Carlson’s average viewership last week was at 3.498 million, 577,000 of which belonged to the key 25-54 years old age group.
Overall, Fox News once again crushed CNN and MSNBC in the ratings.
This marks the 32nd straight week that Fox has defeated it’s mainstream media competitors and topped the charts.
Many experts were surprised that Fox News even beat out many of the networks who were airing the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
This week, Fox News was the most watched network among all basic cable channels as millions of Americans tuned in to get updates on the Russia-Ukraine Conflict.
Fox News was the only basic cable channel this week to surpass the plateau of one million average viewers nearly 1.7 millions on average tuned in.
CNN and MSNBC lagged far behind with 771,000 and 683,000 average viewers respectively. Fox News Channel additionally finished with 97 of the 100 most view cable news telecasts of the week.
The most popular shows this week on FNC were Tucker Carlson Tonight, the Five, Jesse Watters Primetime, Hannity and Special Report with Bret Baier.

Fox News averaged 2.6 million total viewers between the hours of 8-11 PM EST. TBS by comparison, which had been airing the NCAA tournament from Thursday-Sunday, averaged just 1.8 million viewers.
FNC’s late night talk show, “Gutfeld!”, drew in an average of 2.1 million viewers and defeated left wing talk shows “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on ABC as well as NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”
“Fox and Friends” continued to dominate the morning audience attracting 1.4 million viewers and beating out CNN’s “New Day” and MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” for the 52nd straight week.
